It seems that the software, for some reason, will only allow one person per IP address to log in. When Matt's logged in to the DIS and he clicks on 'Chat' in the bar at the top of the page, it takes him to the login screen, but it's always pre-populated with my details. When he changes it to his and tries to log in he gets the 'unknown error' message. It doesn't matter which PC he logs in from, it's always the same. We've trying clearing the cookies, but it makes no difference. Apparently it's the same in the Stringer house. We've tried posted on the Technical Support board, but haven't had any luck.

Tim - would it be possible to get the 'Guest login' re-enabled? I think the issue with our troublesome friends was a one-off. It seemed to be kids who had nothing better to do with themselves when VMK was down. In fact, I'm probably doing most of them a disservice - it was really just one trouble-maker.

OK, thanks to Kev, we seem to have found a workaround. Register with a single username (you'll need to use a different email address from the one you're currently registered with). It worked for Matt and for Ian.

Incidently.. You didn't bring up the whole sneaking a camera into a water park story again did you??
