Sunday traffic headed to Las Vegas

We are leaving DLR on Sunday and headed towards Las Vegas, how is Sunday Traffic? How does it compare to weekday traffic?

Not bad at all. Most of the heavy traffic will be going the other way.

Not bad at all. Most of the heavy traffic will be going the other way.

That is my experience as well. SoCal to Las Vegas Fridays are bad or any day before a holiday period.

For Las Vegas to SoCal, Sundays are bad or any day at the end of a holiday period.

And when I say bad, I mean BAD.

Just want to say that you never know. It only takes one accident or weird construction project to really mess that drive up. But in general yes, the traffic should be going the other way on a Sunday.

You're going against the typical traffic, but also check to see if there's something happening in Vegas during that week. You can also run into some rubbernecking if the traffic in the other direction is bad enough. And as PP said, if there's an accident, all bets are off.
