Sunday or Monday for Magic Kingdom?

Which is the less crowded day to visit the Magic Kingdom in October, Sunday or Monday? Thanks!

Subscribing, wondering about this as well. The whole, avoid EMH parks, go the next AM and don't do MK on Mondays really confuses me.

That depends. I voted Monday because you'd think the weekend are more crowded.

However, just for the record, my sister and I went to WDW last October and reserved Magic Kingdom for a Monday thinking it would be dead since, the crowds that were there for the weekend were gone AND schools had just started up again from the Summer break, so who would pull their kids out of school on a Monday when school jsut started again? You'd think. But everyone must have the same thing in mind. Because after almost passing out from the extreme heat and overwhelming crowds, I asked a cast member "What the heck is going on? It's a RANDOM Monday in October, why is it so crowded"???? The CM had NO clue! All she could say was she was shocked by the crowds AND she also noted that that particular day was logged in as THE MOST crowded day of the whole year for MK!!!! It was outrageous!

Doesnt matter which day really. In my experience, no matter the day or time, MK is always considerably more crowded than any of the other parks.

More people arrive on Saturday than any other day of the week.
More people want to do the Mk first. Some of them do all their MK days up front in a row.
Therefore, Sunday and Monday are both bad.
Add to that, this October is an evening emh day on Sunday. Although I'm told that could change.
Avoid Sunday at all costs is my mantra at the moment.

The alternate school calendar. The second and third weeks of October are fall break weeks for a lot of schools. Add to that Columbus Day. Some schools are off the first and second and some are off the third and fourth. Some are off the second and third. So the second and third overlap.
That columbus day weekend was packed.
October is going to get busier in the future as more schools go to the alternate scheduling.

I think no matter wat time of he year it is the weekends are always more crowded so stick with monday or go a lil later in the week

I went with Monday cause the weekends are always worse no matter when you go.
