We will be in Disney in a couple of weeks - Do any of the restaurants (outside of the parks) have private dining rooms? We have 15 people and thought it would be nice if we had our own space for dinner.

if not, any suggestions for 15 people - a mix of adults and small children

Thanks,

when you say outside the parks, do you mean still on WDW property or off-site?
We were a grand gathering of 22 last yr and never had any private seating. But we never asked either. Most restaurants were pretty good abotu seating us together, just not always at the same table.

Still on Disney property but not having to enter a park.

I know we can also do a food court at one of our hotels but was hoping there might be a "room" for us. Would like something good but not fancy.

Boma may be an option at AKL. They do not have private rooms (as far as I know) but they do have the ability to string long runs of tables together. There is some diverse food choices as well. Kids do have choices as well (chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, meatballs etc). There are endless deserts too. May be a thought.

If you had asked this six months ago the answer would probably have been yes. Since you are only a few weeks out, the answer is "extremely unlikely".

To get a large group together, or even close to each other, would require two or three reservations at the same time within 10 minutes of the restaurant opening, as well as getting there about a half hour before opening so they can link the reservations and either move tables together or seat the reservations at adjoining tables.

No restaurant, especially with Spring Break crowds starting to arrive, will hold several tables open so they can seat a large group.

The wave at cr had some rooms in the back. Call and ask you might get some good suggestions!

Boma & Ohana were able to seat 13 of us all together at one table, but not in a private area. But as a pp said it would be very unlikely that you could snag a reservation so large with such little time. But it never hurts to try. pixiedust:

Try calling Grand Gatherings and see what they suggest. Maybe they might have an opening with one of the Grand Gathering experiences.

Thanks everyone! I know according to Disney its a last minute trip, I will call and see what I can get.....thanks for the suggestions
