Why is it that WDW vacations go by so quickly? Looking back, I realize all the fun I had. I did many things for the first time. Still have not done so many other things.

Decided to have breakfast at the Yacht Club Galley. Dined alone, my grandson and his mom are not normally breakfast eaters. Only when it is special, like yesterday with Goofy. Well they missed a great buffet the Yacht CLub buffet was excellent.

Returning to the room, I found the 2 sleepy heads up and totally packed. They were planning another day at MGM. We pulled our bags to the airline Check in desk and took advantage of the service. They were able to check our bags and issue our boarding passes. We now would only have to go through security, when we arrive at the airport later.

I had decided to forego the parks on the last day, and reminded my grandson of our 1 p,m, PS for Prime Time Cafe. Off they went and I headed for Guest Services. I was able to upgrade my ticket to a 10 day PH with no expiration. Since I had spent 6 days in the parks, I had 4 left for a future trip.

Spent some very relaxing time in the beautiful Solarium they have at the Beach Club, located near the villas. Called my husband to finalize him picking us up at the airport that night in Chicago.

About 1:15 p.m. I was enjoying a shady rocker near the Yacht CLub and Stormalong Bay, when I decided to call my grandson at Prime Time Cafe. His mom answered and said our server is mad "No talking on cell phones at the table". Well if you have ever been at Prime Time, you know this is all part of the fun. SHe called back shortly, with a full report of all the fun they were having. Lots of fun blowing bubbles in their root beer floats too.

I decided about 3 p.m., to take the boat to MGM. Calling my grandson again (I am so thankful I got a cell phone before coming on this trip, never had one before) I told them to meet me outside of MGM. By 3:30, they were exiting the park. They had had a great time again with the Star Wars characters, and of course were bummed that the vacation was almost over. We boarded the boat back to the Beach CLub.

WE had time to stop at the arcade next to Beaches and Cream, and my grandson beat me at a mean game of Air Hockey.

Our Town Car arrived promptly at 5 p.m. We had a lot of fun telling our driver Ed about all of our WDW adventures.

While sitting in my very rare window seat, I could only wonder. Why do WDW vacations go by so quickly? I had fun, but I did not get to do eveything that I wanted on this trip. Guess it's time to begin planning the next.

Nice report.......but I know what you mean. We arrived on June 15 for 8 nights and before I knew it we were finished! I cannot begin to explain how or why times goes by so quickly at WDW. Glad you had a great trip.
