How crowded will MK be the Sunday after Thanksgiving? I am hoping that the Thanksgiving crowds will be heading home, but not sure. Any opinions?

I'm also wondering!! Also, isn't it an EE day? Will that make it worse?

A couple of years ago, we went t-week. It was crowded, but it did start clearing ouy on Sunday. It was so crowded that week, a couple of days, we stayed out of the parks, we mini golfed and water parked.

The crouds are better but they are not all gone yet. The following days get progessively better.

Also good about then, all of WDW is decorated for Christmas by then.

Its a great time to go.

On my last trip, I arrived the day after Thanksgiving and WOW!! There were ALOT of people there. I actually avoided the MK, until Monday (tried it and left within 2 hours of being there). The parks definitely do start to thin out on Sunday, but not completely. I would recommend a park like EPCOT that day, then hit the MK any other day.

I'm starting to wonder if I should rethink my strategy and not do MK on that day. We are doing MVMVP on Tuesday and I really wanted to do MK on that Sunday so on Tuesday we could concentrate on the shows and Christmas stuff. Anyone else??? Like, how bad is bad. In the past, I have done MK on the first Saturday when we arrive (Usually 1st week of December) and despite reports its never that bad. So how would the Sunday after Thanksgiving compare to a regular Saturday??

We are also arriving the day after Thanksgiving. We've been thinking about what to do when because of the crowds too. The only for sure thing is were going to MVMCP on Tues. Dec. 2nd other than that, it's kinda up in the air right now.

Since there's quit a few of us going around Thanksgiving...everyone make sure to wear your Lime Green!!!

Thanksgiving day and the day after are mobbed. By Sunda, the crowds are starting to thin out. There are still crowds, but not that bad. Starting on Monday it is great! I have been twice during this time period.
