Here's some advice from a Floridian:

There have been many times, after an entire day outdoors during an unseasonably warm winter day (when I've paired jeans with a tank), I've come home with a pink nose and red shoulders. Burnt...nah...it faded by the next day but still not good for you.

Cover your bases and pack a FACE STICK. Doesn't take up alot of room in your luggage and SO easy to apply...just a swipe to noses, brows, and ears and your disney gang is probably good for the day.

That is something I could never ever use! I have very oily and sensitive skin....if I used something like that I would look like a pizza face. There are so many people that cannot just put anything their face. I swear by sunscreen, but like many I have to be very careful of what I put on my face.

Also what a lot of people don't know and do not do is apply it correctly. Sunscreen should be applied to the skin at a minimum of 30 minutes BEFORE sun exposure. It needs time to work by getting into your skin. It must also be applied generously and rubed in. What I do is I use it like a moisturizer. I apply it after a shower all over - even skin that is covered by clothing. I live by the beach and go at least twice a week. What makes me crazy is seeing people applying sunscreen in small little patches then going in the water. HELLOOOOO.....that sunscreen is completely gone.

ACTUALLY....I have very acne prone skin myself...not all face sticks are created equally. I use that sunless summer stuff. You may have seen the commercial...she applies it right over her makeup. Its very sheen.
