We are wanting to go 4 days this summer (late June). Want to do 2 days at Volcano Bay (is that too much?) And 2 days at UO/IoA
We'll have park hoppers. I would like to do 1 night at HRH and 3 nights at CBBR.
I'm thinking Sunday night at HRH - IoA/USO Sunday & Monday. Volcano Bay Tues & Wed. OR
VB on Wed/Thursday, Friday night at HRH with IoA/USO Friday/Sat.

Thoughts?

If it were me, I would stay at HR so I could have the unlimited express pass for that Friday and Saturday park days
Weekends have higher attendance than weekdays in the parks.

The beauty of park-to-park tickets is that you can hit other parks on your VB days. 2 full days at VB would be too much for me. But 2 mornings or evenings at VB, a change of clothes, and the rest of the day at IoA/USO would be lovely...

That said, I would pick S-W unless the hours on Fri/Sat are significantly different and you will take advantage of them. Fri/Sat are likely to be significantly busier than Sun/Mon (especially the Saturday). Since you'll have EP, it might not matter. On the other hand, hotel rates will be better if you're avoiding Friday night.

I wish we could completely avoid weekend, but that adds more vacation days and we have a limited amount of those.

I was just looking at prices and Friday/Sat a more expensive.

Thanks everyone! Another question. I just noticed that APs are blocked at VB in July. Should we go in July instead of June?

This is because July is typically peak season, where they'd see visitors from outside of Orlando. In June, a lot of schools are still in session so its just on the fringe of peak season. But this year, anything goes. I'd probably stick with June if it were me.

I also agree with PP that Sun-Wed is better for fewer crowds. I also don't think two days at VB is too much. Whether you go in June or July, it will be HOT. You'll want the reprieve of a waterpark, especially since mask rules are more relaxed there. We did Disney in October and it was incredibly hot with our masks on in the parks and we found ourselves ending our days early because of it just to get to the pool at our resort. In June/July, I probably wouldn't want more than two park days anyway.

Thank you for the detailed reply. I finally ended up booking, I did Sunday-Wed, we are staying the 3 nights RPR.

Check AP rates for your stay. You may be able to save on the room. Only one person needs a AP to get the rate. APs are about the same price as a 4 day ticket. If there is any chance you will return within a year get APs for everyone. The first post on the thread tells you how to check AP rates.

Thank you, I will have to do some research. We will be buying military passes ($235 3-park P2P, no block-out), which are basically APs without the savings. USO did the military community good this year, unlike Disney.
