Sun-Wed of Thanksgiving Week

I've read through last year's trip reports, but am still confused as to the crowd levels. Seems like last year the parks were really BUSY, but people think this was due to the deals Disney was giving (pay for 4 get 3 nights free?).

What to expect this Thanksgiving? Anybody got a clue?

And, secondly, any recommendations on which days to do MK and MGM (choices are Sun-Wed). We're leaving on the crowded Turkey day!

was there last year at that time and it was busy busy busy but certainly not undoable! just use fast passes and plan your day accordingly..Mondays are usually really good for MK

We've been Thanksgiving week 3 times and this past year was by far the busiest. The past two trips, in 1999 and 2001 (just after 9/11), the parks were very low Sunday-Wednesday. However, this year was very different. Like the above poster said, if you plan accordingly and use fastpasses, it is doable. We did EE a few mornings and skipped to a different park by lunch- worked great as the EE parks were packed by lunch!
