Im just going though all my stuff meds and bandaids and stuff and see i dont have any sun lotion.

Jade, being from AZ, you should know that we need sunscreen YEAR ROUND. The sun doesn't become any less damaging in winter. So yes, pack your sunscreen and use it every day.

lol ya i knew some one would say that to me.
I barely ever use it here in less im out all day some where. but ty i was just woundering if even in the winter lol.. thanks dmouse.

I agree! My mother just had skin cancer removed from her face last week. Please protect yourself and have a great vacation.:goodvibes

That would depend on how sensitive you are to getting a sunburn.

We went to DL at the end of October. It was HOT, sunny with clear skies all 7 days we were there. My DH and 2 little boys didn't wear any sunscreen the entire trip, and none of them burned. However, I did get a little sunburn on my chest and arms after going 3 days without wearing sunscreen. On the 4th day I finally remembered to wear sunscreen before hitting the parks, and by the 5th day, my sunburn was gone. I'm pretty fair though and tend to burn easier than my guys.;) (I have to add though that my foundation makeup is a 15 SPF, so my face in fact did have sun protection on it everyday.)

I would say the chances of someone getting a sunburn this time of year is small. Afterall, it's not really shorts/tank tops weather now. It's more like capris/jeans with t-shirts or sweatshirts kind of weather, so not a lot of skin is exposed anyway. However, if you're very fair, you might want to get some sunscreen and bring it along as a precaution.:)

well i am the only one that gets sunburned and usely bad..i hate sun lotion it makes my skin fill wierd. but i have worn it all the time when out.. lucky for me my mom in law just told me we could use hers she has some in her gold minewing stuff and she wont be useing it while were gone..so yeah we have it..ty all
and im sorry about the skin cancer. I have feared getting any cancer since i was a kid..and skin is one that I could get with out protection so ty for reminding me

It doesn't matter where you are, but especially here in southern california, you need sunscreen year round. It can be very sunny here, and can even get burned with the clouds out!

I use the neutrogena 70!

Jade (I feel like I'm talking to my DD, her name is Jade! LOL) you can buy spray on sunscreen now, it's made by Coppertone. I burn verrrrry easily, I will even burn through my clothes, I use this Coppertone spray on sunscreen, it's alcohol based and it dries quickly. Often when we are going to be in the sun all day I will have DBF spray me before I get dressed, just a quick all over spray, then I will get dressed and reapply before I go out. I have very Irish skin, fair and fries easily. LOL

ya thats what i got when went to florida disney world year in half ago.. but my fionces mom found hers so now we have some ty.. jades my middle name but online i go buy jadedarkstar on so many sites. I think its a wonderful name

I'm not normally one to use this store, but have you ever tried WalMart's "No Ad" sunscreen? I bought some on our trip to CA, on the advice of SO many Dis'ers, and it's amazing stuff. It feels light, not even like lotion let alone like icky sunscreen, and it spreads really nicely. And even though coppertone and all the others turned me pink (not a burn, but I didn't stay white, nor did I turn beige...just pink), this one kept me from burning and allowed a teensy bit of beige-ness, which was nice. Nicer than pink!

Anyway, I highly recommend their NoAd brand for many reasons, but the light-feeling of it is especially nice.

You can always go to weather.com because I know you can check the UV index and stuff. That will help to determine how necessary the sunscreen is. I'm a pale redhead so I wear sunscreen a lot in the summer. I don't usually get too burnt in the winter though. Not sure if I'll be wearing any next week or not. Probably not.

Here's a link to a 10-day forecast for anaheim...with the UV index for each day. (Hopefully this link will work.)

The UV index is pretty low most days so I don't think sunscreen is super important. I mean, I'd put sunscreen on small children of course...but probably not adults.

No Ad sunscreen is available everywhere, not just at Wal-Mart. When I don't have my spray on stuff No Ad is my second choice. :)

I love the name Jade too, my DD is Jade Sky.

well ty for the site it worked. 3 and 2 the days were there.not bad at all ill take the sunscreen with us and put it on but at least it dosdnet look bad, heck i usely get sunburned even if i wear it so maybe this trip i wont burn a all be really nice

When waiting at the DL front gate (30 - 45 min. before opening of course :thumbsup2).....this is a perfect time to apply sun screen for the day. (& eat McBreakfast sammys :))

Reapply if necessary, but it's good to do it at least do it once.

We just did our last minute check and added the sun block.
