I just signed up for Sunshine Rewards. I did it before but never seemed to earn more than 2 cents here and there. How do you earn money from it? I don't want to sign up for a ton of things and get a load of spam mail. How are you ladies doing it? :confused3 TIA

just posted about on sunshine rewards wooo hoo. Also I used a seperate email account just for sunshinerewards.

Get several free email addresses to avoid spam in your main email. If you do even a few signups, you will get a ton of spam at the email addresses you use. Also, I would suggest you get a free extra phone number as well so you don't get calls at home. You can make some money with the free signups but after awhile that gets harder because you are probably already in their database (then you need to change the emails you are using). Offers requiring CC signup are the way to make the most money. I do a few spaced apart so I don't lose track of what I need to cancel. Also, frequent check of your CC statement is a good idea. I am paying for most of my next trip with the rewards sites without too much effort. Good luck!

I agree... you need a different email address.

You will get a TON of spam. So, create a new email address for all of the signups.

Open a separate email address. I do quite a few reward programs and have pretty much a different one for each site! Then you can sign up for the little sign ups and not have to worry about getting spammed.

You can start by doing the daily surveys at .60 a pop that is 18 dollars a month if you do one every day. To make significant cash though you are going to have to do the credit card sign ups. Those are 10 dollars a piece basically you sign up for something for maybe a dollar then you call to cancel it in 14 days or how ever long the trial is so you would profit nine dollars. It's really simple check out the rewards board we have a list of those that you can sign up for and cancel online maybe start with those before you move into the ones where you have to call someone to cancel. If you are not comfortable giving out your cc number you can get a prepaid card for those offers. It's addicting though doing the sign ups and seeing how much your account grows!

Make sure you use a different email address.. i got one at gmail aka google

there is another site that a few of us are starting to use also and I have made $75 since last night.

Thanks! I can get the new email address, but credit card sign ups? Won't that hurt my credit or something? I'll check out the link someone posted, but I am still kind of confused.

Lisa,
How on earth did ya make 75 bucks since last night?, and are you sharing the site? thanks

Applying for a credit card will put a dent in your credit but the credit card offer sign ups will not. Those ones you pay a fee to try the service for a trial period. I don't see how that would damage your credit. You are basically trying something and if you don't like it you are canceling before you get charged the full price.

Yes, applying for a credit card will make a hit on your credit score/report - everytime there is an inquiry on your credit, it takes a small hit.

Also, I NEVER give out a credit card number through a reward program. Many of these offers are with companies that may not have the same levels of computer security as some large companies do (although large companies are also vulnerable to hackers). If you want to do any offers requesting a credit card, I would agree with the other poster and get a prepaid card from a store and give that account number out for reward offers. At least a malicious hacker can't access your actual credit card account if you're using a prepaid card.

Please beware when doing the offers. I can't prove how it was taken but my Disney Visa number was taken & used alot last week -- the only place I used it was on a rewards site. If you visit the rewards thread, you will see that other people have had the same problem.

After this has happened -- it's not worth it it me -- now I have to spend all this time undoing what some bu**wipe did signing me up for all kinds of things. Unless it was alot of money -- it's just not worth it to me for the headache. I'll keep doing the daily survery, scratch off and paid clicks-- but the offers aren't worth it anymore.

The best thing to do to be safe is to get a pre-loaded debit card with a few dollars on it.. or use a one time use number.

I have been using my paypal virtual card and it issues a new one time use number.

And when you do that with your PayPal Virtual Card, do you still have to cancel? I have been pondering that because technically they don't have a way to keep charging you.

FYI...last night I tried to do one of those Home Rewards signups with my Virtual Card and the site came back and said that the offer wasn't good in my area...I was wonder if they can know that I was using a one time number? :confused3
