I have the pleasure of doing several to and from MCO to our resort. 6 Times back and forth, is getting a sun pass better than just carrying the coins?

We also plan to go to the space coast.

We love-love-love our SunPass transponder - so worth the $25 to not worry about change, slowing down, etc. if you are planning on ever going back. You still have to pay the tolls, but they are discounted and you don't have to stop for them.

I just ordered it online and as you suggested, just not having to dig around for coins and wait for others who are just as bad as I.

It was easy to do and even if I don't get discount, just going thru the pass line is worth it

Even better - 417 has high-speed toll gates that you don't even have to slow down for!

I plan on purchasing one, but I am going to West Palm prior to Disney, so we will have a greater need for it since you cannot use coins on some of the highways there. The pass is really much more convenient anyway.

I need to get ours before our trip this May. We will be back in October and then January 2011 so its definetly going to be worth it for us.

They have a sun pass mini transponder which is just a little sticker that can be purchased at a lot of local places for $10. Its always worked great for us, I got mine at Publix

I saw those and thought those would work out great for some. However for us we will generally use a rental car and I would hate to leave a "balance" on the mini transponder time and time again.

Absolutely! Who wants to waste precious time in the toll lanes counting-out coins with a ga-zillion other tourists (many who have never used a tollway, before)?
