Sun or Mon in MK

If you have first hand experience, please help. Which day is less crowded in the MK, Sun or Mon. I know Sun is EE day, but it is also the weekend. We'll be visiting WDW the first week of Nov (4 adults, 6 kids under 12. We plan to stay in the park until closing. Any words of wisdom are appreciated.

From my past experience, I've always gone to the parks the day after an EE. If Sunday is EE at the MK then I would go on Monday. Also, I'd avoid the MK altogether on the weekends because it's really crowded with Floridians.

We usually always go in Oct when there are NO crowds but I don't think you'll have too many problems when you're going.

I personally have found the Magic Kingdom to be more crowded on Monday than Sunday but early entry wasn't on Sunday then.

We went on a Monday this summer and the crowds were manageable in the morning. It got very crowded in the evening, but the park had a late closing and Spectro. I agree with the Day After EE theory, too.

I agree with either doing EE and getting out of the park by noon, or hitting the park the day after EE. However, I don't know if this is working for MK now that EE is on Sunday. Monday is historically a very busy day at MK. I usually send people there on Tuesday which is the slowest day, especially off season. Whichever day you go, go early! Whoever gets there first gets more rides with less lines..

I'm really nervous about the crowds this year. We always go off-season, never before in November, and I'm thinking we are going to be bombarded this year with crowds. I appreciate all of the above info!

noticed from the "historical" hours that in Jan of last year Mk was open till 7:30 on Fri., Sat and Monday...wondering if this had anything to do with ee days ( which I'm guessing would mean they were a lot more crowded)or why

this means the quiet Sunday mornings in the Magic Kingdom are gone? Some of our best memories from the MK are on Sunday mornings....

since EE is on Sunday, what effect has that had on the Saturday crowds?

Yes we did go for EE in MK. There was a 20 minute wait for SpM when we got there. 10 minutes for BUzz. We ended up leaving around 12:00 when there was a 40 minute wait for the Jungle Cruise (which I don't understand-am I the only one that noticed Jungle Cruise never had a long line until they added FP?)

Monday morning we got there for 9:00 and walked on SpM, SM and Haunted Mansion. However when we left there at 11:00 Winnie the Pooh had a 45 minute wait. I think the rides that attract the younger kids had longer waits b/c there were far more younger kids there with it being a school day.

Last September we went to MK on a Sunday morning and I was dumbfounded with how empty the park was. We felt like the whole place was open just for us.

We were there last Sunday (9/21) in the afternoon and it was great. We hardly waited for anything. We don't do much in fantasyland, but the rest of the park was not very crowded. I think a lot of people do early entry and then leave in the early afternoon.

we're going to give it a try this Sunday--our kids are early risers, and we cannot imagine starting our trip anyplace besides the MK. I'll report back on 10/7

could you report what time it started getting busy also so I can firgure out when to make my resort lunch ps(lol)???nothing like looking a gift horse in the mouth eh? have fun!
