Tornado watch just implemented for Orange & Osceola counties. The northern portion of WDW is in Orange, while the souther portion is in Osceola.

We just left AK and they were taking down the security scanners. Not sure if they always do that, but it seems like they're not planning on many arrivals. There were some small branches down on our way into CBR. Thankfully, we are from tornado alley so this doesn't bother us at all.

Actually, doesn't matter where you are from - need to have a healthy respect for any tornado watches. Have been some 'deadly' ones the last day/night!

I'm from deep south - have been in many hurricanes, but I still have a fear of them, and take all watches of tornadoes seriously. They are so sporadic, and little warnings involved. Was in one as a child, no damage, but a very close neighbor killed.

No. These are very unusual during this time of year. Summer is another thing entirely though.

Great night tonight. Occasional quick showers up until Wishes. Crowd was very light. Wishes started at 8:30 instead of 9pm. It was so cool having a lightning show as a backdrop to a fireworks show. Didn't start coming down until 9pm. Overall the rain and threat of thunderstorms kept a lot of people away today, and it was never really an issue until after Wishes. A good day to gamble and it paid off.
