sun cream

Hello,
Just a quick question, I ended up buying some delph sun lotion in thorpe park this week it is SF15 and water resistant. Can I use that in florida, I am going over there in a few weeks and I seem to remember there was a big deal made over there that English creams don't work in the florida heat or something like that?

Any advice?

SP 15 isn't really good enough protection for the intense heat and sun. You are bound to perspire alot so whatever you use will need reapplying often. Personally we would never go lower than 20 (actually to protect ourselves here we use SP15) I would suggest SP 25 - 30 and even higher for children.
P20 and P40 are very good as they only need applying once a day but they can stain white clothes.
Whatever you decide, have a great time.

we always use factor 25-30 when we are in orlando, even if it's not really sunny you can burn in the shade.
And you don't want that to happen!

factor 60 for me - and frequent application
Any tan is a sign of sun damage (although better than burning)
Seen a lot of people with sun burn even from the short spell of hot weather here in the UK

Not a popular view though I am sure

You should pick your sun protection by factor to suit your skintype. On our first trip way back in '90 the reps allowed a salesman at the welcome meeting to tell everyone their creams were useless and that he could sell the 'proper stuff'. Lots of people bought it and the prices were outrageous. The factor is the most important criteria. Ther's only one sun

Im going in september so I hope it will be sunny enough to use any sun cream I have experienced that before as well, being scared into buying the sun lotions that the travel company reps want you to have. I guess I will have to buy some more when I go over then, ah well! You live and learn! Thanks for the advice!
