I was checking airfare rates this evening and Sun Country has their rates out for the dates of our trip, May 31-June7. They are showing a rate of around $206. I haven't ever flown out of Minneapolis. Is this a good rate, or should I wait.

Also, I am a little nervous about flying with Sun Country. I am more comfortable with a bigger name Airline. Anyone flown Sun Country recently that can give me their opinion of the airline.

Thanks for your advice.

Anything in the low $200s out of MSP is fabulous! I got NW for $229 for my upcoming trip with a fall fare sale and before that the same fare was $293. I flew Sun Country once before a few years ago and they were just fine clean plane, great service, on-time. They are located in the Humphrey Terminal with ATA, Ryan, and Omni. Hope this helps!

I haven't flown Sun Country for a year or so, but I don't think you have anything to worry about. All their planes are newer and as far as I am concerned you have no safety issues to worry about.

Anything under $250 is considered an excellent deal out of MSP to MCO. If you are comfortable with the times and such, I'd jump on it.

Iagree with the others. $206 RT for a non-stop flight is a good price. Sun Country flies non-stop to MCO from MSP.

I've learned (the hard way) to grab a reasonable price when I see it, especially if it is a non-stop and I can live with the schedule. (anything around $225 RT for non-stop is reasonable to me). It's certainly possible that a lower price will come along, but it is more likely that prices will go up and I will be upset. If the price goes down, I just consider the "lost $$" as the price I paid for peace of mind.

Anyway, I'd grab the $206. THe HHH terminal is so much easier to navigate than the Main. We've flown SC several times in the past year or so (although not to MCO). Excellent service.

Best wishes -

Grab the airfare!! I agree with everyone else, that's a great fare and SunCountry is a fine airline. Unlike NWA which offers a $10 sandwich, they actually serve you a meal!

We fly SunCountry a lot and its our new favorite airline, given the choices here. You do need to get to the airport early, as they don't typically assign seating until you check in.

I've never flown on them before, but I will be in 3 weeks. I would pounce on that $206!!! Anything that low is great out of there. Sun Country was $245 for my trip, and I waited. BIG mistake  , it ended up costing me $302 per person, and the earlier flight I wanted was sold out already.

Thanks for all the great advice. I booked the flight this evening. My hotel reservations are made and flight is booked. DW here we come!!

I flew Sun COuntry last month.... I wouldn't hesitate flying them again.... though we got our tickets for 140rt taxes included... but then we got lucky..... enjoy your trip.... MSP is very hard to find deals out of.

My DH and I used Sun Country in July from Minneapolis. We did have assigned seats. It was a great trip. Clean plane, left on time and they even served breakfast.

I've flown on SunCountry 4 times and everytime they have the best stewardesses. They were always on schedule too. I would recommend them to anyone.
