Sun and Fun discount extended...why isn't the AP extended?

So I guess this is self explanatory. Disney extended the (GP) sun and fun discount, but not the AP discount. Is this fair...probably not(and I probably will get bashed for this)!

What are the possibilities/probabilities that we AP holders will ever see an extended discount?
