They had a pool like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4451029443&category=116405

For 18.99 at Aldi’s. My 11 son bought it with his own money.

When we first got it I thought we could blow it up…. Well, its HUGE and I told him, we’d have to wait for my fiance to get his brothers compressor. This was yesterday.

My son calls me just now “Guess where *I'm* at?” I said where… “In the pool”

Him and my 14 y/o son blew it up.

I’d be in the hospital with an asthma attack and popped blood vessels if I even attempted to blow it up!!! Im expecting to go home to 2 kids with black eyes, and bloody noses.

Ahhhh – to be a kid again!. :goodvibes

:rotfl:

It must be hot there today for them to be motivated enough to blow that sucker up themselves!!!

We had one of those pools a few years ago and I'd be dead if I tried blowing that thing up! I have trouble blowing up a balloon! :rotfl:

Or maybe they were smarter than mom and figured out that any tire or ball pump would work just as well.

Awww, how kind of you to note my children's intelligence level, as opposed to mine!

They blew it up - without a pump, which we dont have, hence needing the compressor.

Thanks again!!!

Just a joke. Geez.

In that case they really must have wanted that pool.

I do not mean to be a downer- but just be careful with the little ones. In my area of the world, there have been three deaths because the little ones are able to climb in. Just a word of caution- enjoy the pool :sunny:

A neighbor lost their cat in theirs too. Poor thing could jump in but couldn't climb out.

Well, I'm impressed  Send those boys right over here please. My yard needs raking and I don't have the energy to run the leaf-blower in this heat :rotfl2:

We have one and love it! Tell them next time to use a hair dryer on cool. It literally takes about 7 minutes to blow up.

Maybe I was being sensitive - it's been a rough week. I apologize. :guilty:

Yeah - they did really want the pool. In fact I found out younger son-10 was "getting tired and dizzy - and ooooo, just didnt *feel* good!" So older son - almost 15 blew that baby up himself. :faint:

To have lungs like that. <sigh>

And there was 2 of them - and you all know 2 young adults must use at LEAST 6 towels to dry off - minimum. And thats exactly how many they used. :laundy:

We have a fenced in yard - and no little ones. So - we should be good. :thumbsup2
