Our last day at Disneyland will be on Sunday (first Sunday in August). Wondering what would be better for our 2nd last day, the Saturday or the Friday? Was leaning towards the Friday earlier but a few people have mentioned that Saturdays have been less busy due to the Annual passes being blocked? So, for those who have went this summer, which has been more busy, Saturday or Friday? Thanks!!!

A lot of it stems from the Al Lutz article that said Saturdays are likely to be the least busy day of the week in the summer because all but the top two APs (Premium and Premier) are blocked. On Fridays, the Deluxe APs are valid (along with the Premium and Premier). Based a quick look of the calendar, it seems like Friday and Saturday are going to be the same in terms of entertainment. The only noticeable difference (that I saw when looking quickly) is that Saturday is DL's EMH/MM day whereas Friday is DCA's EMH day. Do you have access to EMH and/or MM? That could potentially affect which day you pick, either because you want to spend EMH and/or MM in a specific park or because you want to avoid the EMH/MM park.

We only have 1 magic morning but Tuesday and Thursday are both spark days so that is not a deciding factor. Crowds would be my #1 deciding factor.

We were there last week and in the parks from Saturday afternoon (July 12), to late Wednesday afternoon (July 16). Saturday was not bad at all. Seemed like pretty low crowds. We were surprised by how low the crowds were Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. They were much less than we have encountered the first week of June. Wednesday was significantly more crowded than the other days we were in the park.
