Summer Vacation! Where are you going this year?

Let's see... we are going to enjoy our new boat this year so we are spending one week in July up at Lake Nippising, Ontario, Canada at http://www.lakair.com/. We're also heading to Black Lake, NY for a week in July also. That's a lot of fishing in one month!

How about you? Any fun summer vacations planned?

We're going to England to see DH's family. It's nice because we stay with his twin brother and his family and visit with his daughter, his other brothers & parents. I'm really looking forward to it--we had a great time on our last visit and even managed to get in a few touristy things for me!

Wow from the looks of it we will be having a pretty quiet summer in comparison. Just going camping alot, trying to save for our real vacation next year. Hope everyone has a great time!

Well, we were planning to go to WDW around May or June of this year, but I think I'll have a baby around May instead.

We are postponing our WDW vacation until May 2006 and plan to bring the baby with us.

Taking advantage of my inlaws living 6 hours into Kansas and staying with them and going on to Colorado to see the mountains!!!! It is our second favorite destination (within driving distance)!

It is particularly special because they are helping out thier church and stay in the parsonage that DH grew up in, so we can show DD where DH lived when he grew up!!!

We are heading to Vegas for 2 nights and then on to SoCal and DISNEYLAND for 4 nights.

In addition we will be taking in Drum Corp competitions in Toledo, Ohio, Murfreesboro, TN, Orlando. FL and finals in Foxboro, Mass!!!! It's going to be a great summer!!!

We're going to Branson this summer. I'm hoping my DD will enjoy it as much as I did as a child.

We can't let a year go by without a trip to Disney so, we will be celebrating DD12 Birthday with an Oct. trip

Sometime in July, hopefully, we will go home to FL to visit our family. They only see us once a year and have only met Holly once when she was 7mos. We are going to WDW for three days (staying with my family who lives an hour away) and we are going to Sea World a few times. There are some nature parks that DH wants to go to as well. Also the Orlando Science Center which is a blast. We are going to try to stay for a couple weeks and do as much as possible since DH hasn't had a vacation in two years. No one has seen him in that long either. So far we don't have any definate dates just a month LOL.

We don't usually vacation in the summer since we much prefer the off season. Unfortunately with DH in school for the next 2 years if we want any kind of vacation it looks like summer is our only option for now. Our public school will be getting a late start in Sept due to school construction and DH won't be starting until mid month so I'm thinking we might try WDW after Labor Day.

We are supposed to rent a beach house with DH's family somewhere in the coastal Carolinas. Probably end up North Myrtle Beach.
Plus, DH and I are taking a cruise to the Bahamas and another quick trip to the World for a conference for me.

If all goes right we may spend a week or so driving across the southern part of the country. It's looking like my dad will have a business trip out to Washington state this year, that should be done around the time school wraps up, so he's seriously considering flying us out there again (we did this summer 2003 also) and driving across the southern part of the nation, since we did the central/northern route a couple years ago. He wants to take us to see the grand canyon,(and he wants to see it too) and to see our aunt in Texas. Of course if we happen to take a route through Anaheim I may push for a day/side trip to Disneyland, but that's unlikely.
Also may get to go on a girls only trip with my best friend. A graduation gift from my mom and stepdad. That would be to northern NH. Nothing big, but the potential for lots of fun
And of course there will be a few trips to my grandparents' (northern NH), and who knows what else. Mostly though I'll be preparing for college in the fall Our big vacation is in April.

New Orleans in June! Ahhh, the humidity, the sweat, the utter stickiness of it all...My DD11 is touring with her children's choir and will be singing at St. Louis Cathedral on Jackson Square one of the days. We will also take a swamp boat tour, see the Aquarium, eat beignets at Cafe Monde, and hopefully have a great time.

Our annual...15th trip to WDW~! (hmmm...or is it 16th? I've lost count)! We are taking the 7~night Disney MAGIC CRUISE in LOS ANGELES in June (to help celebrate DL's 50th Anniversary!), before hopping on our FC flight to Orlando for 7-8 weeks, per usual. We begin at the PBH (sometimes at the Peabody~We LOVE the Duck March and CL at this prop), where we have AP's to the parks. We enjoy the same Villa suite on CL overlooking the Bay for about 5 eves, before driving our rental Navigator to Disney's VERO BEACH RESORT! We LOVE this place, and the scenic route down A1A. We will be here for 14 days, before driving the truck to WDW and the heavenly Dolphin! We usually do not need a rental while at the Dolphin, but when we do...we have the convenience of the desk off the Lobby! We have PAP's to the the parks, and enjoy a relaxed and leisurely pace while enjoying the MAGIC. Sometimes, we mix a little visit to Key West, Busch Gardens, Sea World, etc. We are HOOKED on WDW for summer!

We're taking the boys to the beach, either North Carolina or here in Virginia, then DH and I are going to Ireland!

ENJOY!! Myrtle Beach is where we live. I knew it would be on somebody's vacation list.

We are going to Baltimore to visit famly in June, and then HOPEFULLY in November (ok, it's later than summer) to WDW!!

Now that is a vacation!!!

We very rarely travel in the summer, we pay a fortune to belong to our beach club and we spend our summer in "our" cabana at the beach. But we do a few little side trips, the poconos, catskills etc.

We are going to West Plam Beach in May and cruising in Novemeber.
DH & I are doing a quickie in Vegas in June.

And my girlfriends and I are headed to the Carribbean in Feb!
