Summer va Winter trip, crowds

We went to Disney in December - loved it. Thinking we may go in July and make it more a resort trip (maybe only 2 days in parks). Are the crowds that much worse in July? We went the week before Christmas and would be going mid-July.

The weeks before, during and after Christmas are the busiest time of the year
at WDW. If you can tolerate those crowds then mid-July, yes busy but not crazy like Christmas. Heat is the problem during July.
