This is a strange question when it's 90 degrees in the shade, but how many of you bring a light sweater or jacket into the parks? I am just wondering if the AC at WDW feels soooo cold after you have been in the searing heat that you feel like you need a jacket?

So, is the jacket necessary or just more backpack clutter for you?

Depending on your age, I would think a jacket in the summer would be unnecessary. One June when we were there (never again), the AC was such a blessing. We never felt chilled.

Although it does get cold in the AC in some places, especially in Epcot...a jacket or sweater would just be extra backpack stuff for me.

My DD has to bring a sweather with her in the summer. She finds some of the restaurants very chilly and will wear it there. However, she does not need them in the parks themselves. After being out in the hot heat, the temperature in the stores is a blessing.

I usually will wear a halter type shirt but always take a T shirt just in case. It really doesn't take up that much room. Last year, we went to Who Wants to be a Millionnaire and the temperatures in there were at the artic level. That T shirt saved me. Just last week, it was so blessedly hot that I ended up changing out of my halter top and put on the T shirt. Made a world of difference.
