I am no stranger to using an ECV at WDW. I have never visited during those of so hot and humid months, since having to use an ECV to navigate the parks. We are going in early August, which means, it's going to be extremely hot, very humid, and most likely we will have an afternoon shower daily. We know that we need to keep hydrated, use sunscreen often, carry a mister fan, and travel light. This will not be a pin trading trip. I refuse to wear a lanyard around my neck if I am going to sweat that bad.
I will be renting a scooter, most likely from Walker again. I am curious as to how I should arrange to cover the scooter if I am off of it and it rains. I am thinking that I should bring something to cover the seat with so that my legs don't fry when I sit down after riding something and the seat is flaming hot from sitting in the sun. What else am I missing?
What tips do you have to share for keeping the Disney parks magical while you are sitting on a scooter in those summer months?
TIA
