We will be going to Disneyland the third week in June. Does anyone know if there will be any deals on just the park hopper tickets, not a room and ticket deal? Right now they are $211.00 for a 5 day hopper, and I don't know if I should wait to get them. At times I've purchased my tickets through AAA, because although they charge $10.00 for the service, you get hard plastic cards, which is nicer than paper tickets for 5 days. You also get preferred Aladdin seating.

Thanks...just trying to get a handle on this summer planning!

It's quite likely. Disney pushes to get people to extend their stay by offering room deals for longer than average stays.

They know not everyone that visits stays onsite so they usually also offer a ticket deal of some sort. It's also to have people come for more than the typical 1 or 2 day visit.

It's still early to hear of the summer deals. We probably have a month to sit and be patient.

I was at my local grocery store this week and saw disney gift cards for buy 5 for the price of 3, for park hoppers. I have not been to Disney in 30 years, but from following this board, I would think they might run the same deal on hotels this summer. If you have an Albertson's, (this is where I saw the cards) or a store that sells gift cards you might check that out.:dance3:

No, it's not is SoCal, I am in Idaho, and they were out of the adult card, but had some of the kids ones, I don't know the exact times it's good for, but as I have to go shopping today, I will look and see. I am not sure what other locations sell these kinds of cards, but I have seen them at 2 grocery stores (Smith's a kroger affiliate, and Albertsons) and Walmart and Office Max.

It's too bad you can't get tickets in canada...flight centre offers 7 day pass for 225.

Last year I bought our tickets (5 for 3) I think it was in April, I'll have to look for our cc charge. I'm hoping they will do the same thing again...I did notice that the quote I just got for 2 nts at the Paradise Pier concierge for this year is about $80 more per night then what we paid last year, maybe because of the fact that last year we stayed in May, and this time I got a quote for the first weekend in June? Not sure why the big difference, or maybe they just had a better promotion last year...anyway, I'm going to keep my eyes peeled for better deals! ;)

The 5 for 3 promotion ends in mid April.

The 3 days for $169 ends in April. I have not seen a 5 for 3 promo yet and am wondering if the person who saw that in stores is thinking of last year and not recently.

I think the first weekend in June is expensive right now due to the new rides opening.

I just checked at my local Albertson's, this is the only store, I checked several others. They have ticket gift card for 5 for the price of 3, they do only have children's tickets available right now, I was told when I asked that the adult ones should be in any day now. They were $154. HTH

In that case, it would appear that your local Albertson's in Idaho knows a secret about an upcoming deal that the rest of the country has yet to hear of! I did some searching and couldn't find anything about a 5-for-3 deal in 2011, at least nothing that has been released to the public yet. Who knows :confused3

It has to be from last year...I've been watching it closely for a while now, and I know there is no such deal (yet). Hopeful though!

I'm sure you're right. I'm thinking of switching and maybe we should do onsite for the first two nights, since they are both in May (30 & 31st) and then do the June nights offsite. I'll price it out!

Yes, not to discount (no pun intended) what they saw, but I have a feeling that they must have leftover cards from last year that show the promotion, but don't think Disney is going to accept it, unfortunately. Perhaps the store forgot to pull them when the promotion was over and replace them with current promos? :confused3

I have seen these passes at ALbertsons before and they have the expiration dates on the back. Im sure they are the same ones that are on sale thru April right now.
