Summer switch to BWV came through!

I just switched from VWL to BWV for July 29 - August 2, 2002. Went straight to a preferred view request (didn't want to even mess with a standard view request for our first trip to BWV). I had made the VWL ressie at the 11 month mark.

This will be my second trip for next year....already have 8 nights at my VWL home at the end of May so I thought we'd sample another DVC home as well.

Wow....two trips in one summer....never would have thought it possible before DVC!

Oh, BTW, I called at 2:00 pm EST and got three busy signals. Then I got through and was on hold about 12 minutes. Not too bad!

Of course, you understand, that once you stay at BWV, you won't want to stay anywhere else again

Congrats on the switcheroo! You are going to love the Boardwalk. I love being spoiled by DVC too. We are going for a week in April then six months later in October. We never would have been able to do it without DVC!

Hope to do the same thing for August 18th - 22nd.

We have a WLV Studio from the 11th - 18th, and then switch to a one bedroom until the 22nd. We'd like to switch to BWV for the end of our stay, but won't be too disappointed if we have to 'settle' and stay at WLV!

So, did you call each day, or just call once? I'm wondering if I should call daily or not...

This will be our first trip 'home' Can't wait!

It's always encouraging to hear that the 7 month window works out.

And yes, it's amazing how much time at WDW you can get out of those points.

Tagrel....I did it all at once. Day by day would have required calling just before and after New Year's, and there were holidays where MS was closed, and it was only 5 nights.

Actually, I meant to do this yesterday and got so busy at work I forgot! I was really upset with myself for about two minutes, then figured that if we had to "settle" for VWL, then that would be just fine.

drusba....you are always a source of great information. I think this was the first mistake I've ever seen you make on these boards.
