I'm looking into cruising out of Port Canaveral this summer but the airfare seems so high. SW is $135 one way and Jetblue is $155 one way from the Boston area.

I was just wondering if it's been that high since the release of summer dates?

Two years ago we paid $139 (pretax) each way for MHT-MCO tickets, for August, during a sale. Considering the prices now include taxes on the main page, those are both reasonable.

We go every summer and I usually get my airfare under a $100 each way. I have in the past paid like $124 to start, but have usually gotten it down and had a credit to use later. Hmmm...I don't know about this year. ;)

I just booked our summer trip and the best I could get was $135 each way, I'm kicking myself for not jumping on $119 each way about a month ago! Unfortunately, I think fares will only go up from this point.

Remember that up until 2 weeks ago, the rates on the page did not include tax. Fares HAVE gone up, but when you consider that they now include tax on the first page (where you're looking at flight options), a jump from $119 to $135 is actually not a big jump. Most of that is the new inclusion of taxes.
