Summer & Steven's Fairytale Wedding TR, 20th Aug SBP Baby Pics!!!

Summer your shots were amazing and I love how he used the path lights to create the lighting for the shots!! Sounds like you lived out your DFTW and I am soo happy for the two of you! Congrats again!

Wow!!! I just caught up and read your entire TR. Everything was sooooooooo beautiful!!! You looked wonderful! I can't wait to hear more about your pixie dust!!!!!

Summer,

This is like reading a good book , you can't wait to turn the page, I almost wish I had not found this until the end then I could keep reading. I find myself checking several times per day to see if you have posted the next installment. Wonderful pics in the night shots.

So my eye makeup is usually like this…I first cover the whole eyelid in beige eye shadow, I then apply brown eye shadow just above the crease of the eye, moving from the center of the eye to the outer edge. I then apply a hint of silver underneath the brow, as a highlighter. Then I use a dark brown pencil to fill in the brows, I use my liquid eyeliner on the top lid only and carefully draw a thin line from the center of the eye to the end and I kick it out when I reach the tip, kinda like a cats eye. I then use a white pencil to draw dots where the inner corner of the eye is; this opens up your eyes making them appear wider. I then blend this into the eye shadow and all you can see is a light reflecting sheen. I then use black pencil eyeliner on my lower lid, drawing from the center to the end and blending it in as I go. My mascara is applied very carefully, doing 2 coats on the top and 1 on the bottom, black, of course.

Summer, I am loving the whole report. But (selfishly, I admit :goodvibes ) this is the bit I'm stealing and printing out. I LOVE the way you do your eye makeup. It's gorgeous! You looked absolutely stunning in all your wedding photos as well, but that's more of a special occasion sort of look. I need something that'll stand me well on a day out in City Centre. :)

Wendy – I am so glad you had a wonderful anniversary; you first anniversary is really special so it’s important you did something romantic to mark the special occasion. I find that time is flying by; it’s hard for me to believe I have already been back 5 wees and been married almost 2 months!
V & A was beautiful and I’m glad my mom didn’t come. I don’t think she would have enjoyed the food and although she might have enjoyed the experience, it was more appropriate that it was just Steven and I; it was so romantic.

mla1977 – Oh, I definitely recommend trying V & A, for us it was a once in a lifetime thing, it wouldn’t bother me to not go back again, but the occasion warranted something spectacular, and V & A certainly pushed the right buttons.
The cheese course, well, I obviously didn’t appreciate it as you can see. I have never loved cheese, but I do like some, Bavarian Smoked Cheese is my favorite, but that is mild and cheap! I think if the Savarin hadn’t been so aged it would have tasted better, but probably not by much for me.

Hayley – Definitely try V & A, I’m sure you would really like it. The food really is top quality and if you love seafood, then I’m sure all of the seafood items would please you. It’s pretty expensive but I recommend having the Chef’s menu in the main dining room if you can. $165 per person, not including alcohol, but you get to try everything, well worth it if it may be your only visit to V & A.

AinWonderland – The meal was very filling. It didn’t start out looking to promising, but as the courses kept coming, we realised how full we were. The Chef’s menu is a lot of food, but I wanted to try all the offerings, as I knew if I was to stick to the normal menu I would shy away from seafood and things like foie gras.

D&R love Disney – Thank you. I was so determined to try everything. We were paying a lot and I didn’t want to put loads of restrictions on what we would eat. We have never tried caviar, shrimp, foie gras, Kobe beef, salmon, or quail egg and I am sure there was much more I hadn’t sampled. But, we both knew the kinds of food we would be served and as we weren’t specifically paying and asking for it, it seemed only right that we tried it. If we didn’t like it, then no harm done, on to the next course, lol.

MickeyAnne – Hi, how are you? Nice to ‘see’ you again. That’s right I am well into my TR, glad you’re enjoying it. Thank you for the compliments, my wedding was spectacular and it’s thanks to boards like this. I swear I found out so much from here before the wedding. Some of my best decisions were based purely on things I saw or heard about from the boards.

helloirishkitty – Thank you very much for the compliments. I was so upset that I was so full by the time of the chocolate course. I had been looking forward to it but I really had to push myself to eat any of it. The ice cream was beautiful as was the Tanzanian pyramid, but I’m sure I could have eaten more of the Soufflé if it had came earlier. Would you go back again, or was it a once in a lifetime thing for you too?

Denise – It was an evening to remember, from start to finish our wedding day was wonderful, I don’t think I would have wanted it to end any other way. The photos with Randy were the perfect end to a somewhat surreal day.

DisneyObsession – V & A was great and I would recommend for anyone that hasn’t tried it to do so, it certainly is worth it, at least once. I was so surprised that Randy hadn’t tried it yet, I mean I would have thought he would have been curious, but I think he works so much I don’t know if he would ever have the time for it.
My MK Shoot is up next, with loads and I mean loads of pictures.

Michelle – Steven had the same view. He is very picky at times when it comes to food and often won’t go out of his comfort zone. I was really happy he gave this a go and I think he was pleasantly surprised. However, I see your point, if you really don’t like the sounds of the food I described, and believe me I described them as best I could as I had no pictures, then I wouldn’t waste your money on it. The experience was fantastic, but I wouldn’t pay that just for the experience. To be honest, there were other restaurants that were just as terrific as V & A, food wise and the setting was more to our taste or comfort.
We really felt special here and it was a wonderful feeling on our wedding day, but we have no intentions of going back again.
The studying is going well, thanks for asking, it’s just taking a lot more time than I ever dreamed, and I’m annoyed that I can’t dedicate as much time anymore to my TR.

DisneyLaura – The foie gras surprised me, I really liked it but I think it went really well with the apples. On it’s own? I’m not sure if I would have liked it as much.
The applause at the end was weird; we didn’t know where to look or what to do. Steven is not one for public displays so he was like a deer caught in headlights, but throughout our vacation he began to get used to the attention and actually began to like it. The ‘Just Married’ badges became an important addition to his clothing, and at one point kissed the badges for the pixie dust it brought us.
I am putting up loads of the MK pictures in my next instalment.

MUDisneyCouple – V & A required all that detail. I mean the obviously put so much time and love into their creations, most of the time it was like eating a work of art.
The studying is hard going, I am just beginning my second year of Law school and in my first year, I managed to maintain a 1st. I didn’t have as much to do in my first year, so I managed to study a lot. However this year, I seem to be busy all the time. I have come to the end of my Forensic Diploma that I was studying on the side but I still have some loose ends to tie up. I also have my Higher National Certificate in Health Studies to pick up shortly for when I dabbled in Nursing. I know, I took an entirely different route. I hated Nursing, it wasn’t the career I had hoped it would be, so I left and decided to pursue Law, something I had always wanted to do. My grades in Nursing gave me the confidence to do it and now I feel so much happier. It’s much harder, but I enjoy it immensely. I just think I’m struggling at the moment with scheduling conflicts; I never was good at stuff like that. Long spiel I know, but thanks for asking!

DisneyL8T – Thank you for joining in. I know my updates aren’t coming in as quickly as I would have liked but I’m hoping that now that I’m past the wedding, I may be able to produce more, (not as much resizing pics to do) believe me it takes so much time to do this! I’m pleased you are enjoying it.

Rain – I have heard that Citricos and Narcoosees have wonderful reviews and I don’t think you would go wrong with either of them. I looked at the Narcoosee menu though and noticed it was mainly seafood so shied away from it, however, I think I would be more willing to try it now.
I loved the applause, although at the time I was really weirded out by it. The attention we got throughout our whole vacation was spectacular and I’m sure it is one of the most fun honeymoon spots ever, complete strangers even took the time to talk to us because of those badges, it was fantastic!

traceycooper – We booked V & A 6 months in advance and I had them note my request for the Chef’s menu. I called up a week in advance to remind them of our request. The set menu was $166 per person, not including alcohol or soft drinks. The menu changes all the time, so you don’t know what is going to be available until you are there. However you can get a fair idea of the types of food available by the reviews. There are some things I have seen on the menu stay year after year. The good thing about the Chef’s menu is you get to try it all. This way if you dislike something, it’s no big deal; you can put it aside and wait for the next course. You can of course let the Chef know if you are allergic or have a dislike for something in particular and he won’t include it in your menu. You cannot specifically ask for something not on the menu though, it is set and everyone gets the same menu bar your own personal restrictions.
I hope that helps.

pjstevens – Thank you, the meal was amazing, very special for our wedding night. I am putting up my new instalment today, with loads of pictures.

angel*lady – Definitely try it, once in a lifetime thing for us but as you live in Florida, you could probably go back a few times. I can’t believe you haven’t tried it already!!! I see my descriptions worked well for you, glad I could let you imagine the food porn!

Kirsteen – I still haven’t managed to get my dress predicament sorted. I am going to write another letter over the next few days and give her seven days notice and take it from there. I hope your dress fitting went well, I haven’t been on the Dis much so I haven’t had a chance to catch up on your PJ.
My studies are going well, but it’s taking so much time away from everything else, I hope I can catch up at some point.

MistressOfAllEvil – Checking up on me I see, well I’m back, for now anyway! Anyway, I didn’t see my mom until the next morning, so I’m afraid you will have to wait a little bit longer to find out what became of her while we were at V & A, but believe me, it’s hilarious!
You know what I mean though about being stressed to the gills, it’s not easy; I don’t have enough hours in the day to what I need to do. Have they not invented some kind of drug to keep you up all night? Ah, that’s right, caffeine; I wondered why I was shaking so mmmmmuuuuuuucccccchhhhh!

poohface – I know it’s hard to believe as we got so many pictures taken. But I also hate getting my picture taken. It depends on the pose, but I hate smiling in pics as I think it makes my face look fat. As you can see most pics are with me not smiling. I also hate when my hair is going frizzy etc, etc. I’m a bit of a perfectionist in everything I do and I think it’s why I don’t like pictures as I analyse the pictures and become really critical. Luckily I am happy with the majority of pictures I got, even our own holiday snaps are pretty good because U deleted all the rubbish ones, thank god for digital cameras! Randy was brilliant and made me really feel at ease, he is definitely the photographer to get as he takes his time with you.

Tracey – You are right, Randy is the best. He also met us at GF to give us our pics. Have you started a TR? I may have missed it, as I haven’t been on. I want to use Randy the next time we are in Disney too, his prices are wonderful and you really get value for money.
I know what you mean about other photographers, it’s really hard not to compare other photographers to Randy, the other weddings I’ve been to, well there’s just no comparison. Randy is consistently fantastic. Every photo I have seen with all the other brides are amazing.

Wendy – Thanks for the compliments on the pictures, more is coming up.

D&R love Disney – I wasn’t as pleased with the night shots as I expected to be but I think I had too much expectations. I mean Randy can’t work miracles, although it sometimes seems he can. We weren’t close enough to the fireworks but there isn’t much we could have done. However I do love the pictures beside the WP and some of the firework ones I do love. Plus my hair wasn’t cooperating again and that kind of upset me. All in all though I am happy with most of them and the more I look at them the happier I am.

DisneyLaura - Answers at the end of this massive post…

DisneyObsession – I really like that Randy changes the focus of so many of his pics, I can tell he loved my flowers; he took so many pics of them.
You should definitely book Randy whether or not you have a VR, although having one would be wonderful, you need to work on your husband for that! His prices are really reasonable and you can have him do the shoot anywhere but a Disney park, you could choose your favorite resort even, the list is endless.

HarbinsMom – Thank you, the MK Shoot pics, I absolutely love, very worth the extra dollars. I did love my bouquet and Randy had said it was one of his favorite ones. Calla lilies are my favorite flower so I knew straight away they were the flowers for me, choosing the color was not as easy though, which is why in the end I went with an assortment.

IloveChip – Thank you, I really love the ones on the path too, the lighting was perfect and we managed to get quite a few good ones there. We really did have a Disney Fairytale Wedding and I would recommend it to anyone planning to get married, it really was a dream come true.

shasess – You read the whole thing? How long did that take you? I applaud you, seriously! I am so glad you are enjoying it, I bet you’re glad I’ve slowed down my instalments? Thank you for the compliments. There is so much more pixie dust to come, my eyes are still stinging from it.

Rain – Thank you. Ha, ha, I know what you mean, you must be pretty frustrated that my instalments have slowed down, unlike shasess, she must be tired of reading by now. I am putting up the next instalment now, and I will have finished the wedding pics totally and it will be on to the honeymoon finally.

Hayley – Answer to your question will be at the end of this post…

MadamMim – LOL, you printed that pic out? That will please Steven, he hates the fact he is acting stupid in it, you mean I’m not?
Thanks for the compliments on my eye make-up. I love cosmetics and I have taken years to perfect my eye make-up and I’m quite happy with how I do it now. I have had some horrors in the past, like purple, pink and green, and yes, all at the same time. But I think I have finally cracked what suits me.
I do my make-up like this all the time, even if it’s just to go to the shop, I can’t help it, I feel naked without it.

Okay now that has to be one of the longest responses in history to everyone. I am looking at my screen and its indicating 6 pages worth, YIKES.

Anyway, as you can all probably see, my ticker says I am moving to Canada, and yes, it is true. We are moving to Toronto to be specific. As some of you know we had planned on going to Australia within the next 2 years, but since we came back from the US, I realise how much I love it there. Australia is so far away and I would be leaving behind my mother, brother and grandparents here. And I know in my heart that I would be very unlikely to return as not only do I not like flying, but I also do not like Aberdeen so other than my family I have no reason to return.

Toronto is great, it is so close to the US, there are loads of things to do, it’s a huge city and it caters to the city girl that I am and always have been. It’s safe and the opportunities are endless there. Plus it’s such a beautiful country.

I have contacted a College and I intend to start a course in January 2009. I will then hopefully move on to do my Law Conversion course at The University of Toronto and practice here. I am really excited about this, as it has presented a lot more opportunities for both Steven and I.

We are currently decorating our house from top to bottom to maximise our profits when we sell and hopefully we can land in Canada with some savings.

Unfortunately, coming to this decision means that we cannot go to Disney next year as I had hoped. I am so sorry Hayley as I know we were going to be on the same plane to go. I am upset about not getting to go, but it would be financially irresponsible for us to do this and it would set us back indefinitely. 2 weeks in Disney does not make up for a new beginning in Canada, no matter how good the vacation is.
We will definitely go back but it may not be until 2009, who knows though, if we get over with more savings we may be able to squeeze in a Christmas visit to the mouse next year, but I’m not banking on it.

We are both extremely excited about this and we have a very busy year ahead of us. Our families don’t know for definite yet, but they know we were planning on moving, just not so soon.

So that’s it, my big news explained, and you know what this means? More Disney vacations in the future; after all it’s only a 48 hr drive from Toronto…

So we awoke at 3.30am for our MK Shoot. We had fallen into bed at just after 12, so we were understandably exhausted. I started to brew the coffee then headed for the shower, I really needed some caffeine or there was no way I was going to make it through the shoot.
I showered quickly, did my make-up and ran the straightners through my hair. I didn’t however put any product through it as I thought because it was so early the humidity would be quite low, I would later find out that this was pure BS!
The coffee tasted wonderful, and I gulped it down. Steven had showered and was already getting dressed. I was in a slight panic about getting into my dress and whether or not Steven would manage it. I was still pretty full from Victoria and Alberts and my dress would surely reflect that.
Luckily though, he managed quite easily. I breathed in as much as I could but as I still had my fake nails on, I couldn’t help that much.
Now the night before I didn’t bother to put in hairpins to secure my veil in place, I didn’t realise that this was necessary. If you look at the pictures from the night before, you will notice that my veil is somewhat AWOL, in some pictures. It’s not that it was so windy, but with all the moving about it had shifted quite dramatically, I hadn’t felt it slip either so a lot of my pictures, unfortunately, show no veil.
So lesson learned, I secured it with 4 pins this time and I also secured my tiara.
My flowers had wilted slightly throughout the night and the stems had a kind of gooey fluid seeping out. I quickly ran water over the stems, dried them and hoped they would last for the shoot.
I looked in the mirror and felt a pang of sadness; this would be the last time that I would wear my wedding dress. It had been wonderful and I never thought I would feel so attached to an item of clothing. In it though, I had lived out my dream, I became a princess for the day and it is a memory that I will always cherish.
It was nearing 5.05am and we were supposed to meet our photographer Paul in the lobby at 5, so we were already running late so we did a quick check and left our room.

We headed down the stairs and rushed across the grounds. I noticed our photographer straight away. The resort was like a ghost town and he was the only one I could see.
He opened the door for me and introduced himself. We were immediately put at ease. He had a very strong accent, I didn’t ask where he was from but I’m guessing it was Texas. We got into his van and we were on our way.
He asked us about the wedding and who our photographer was and I started to worry. I had heard horror stories about Disney photographers getting their nose out of joint when they realised that an outsider shot your wedding. However I had no reason to worry with Paul, he said that Randy did amazing work and he often shot his clients MK shoot.
Paul was so friendly and he told us how he gets so excited before an MK Shoot. He struggles to sleep as he always worried that he would miss his alarm. He continued to tell us that he woke up nearly every hour, making sure he hadn’t overslept.
He said he was getting married next year to another Disney photographer. She wants a Disney wedding and a really extravagant one whereas he wants to just go away somewhere private and do it without the fuss. He admitted however, he’d likely end up saying his vows at Disney.
He knew that I had specifically requested him as our photographer and was curious why I had. I told him that I knew he wouldn’t just stick to the usual shots and seemed to be more adventurous with his photography. This really pleased him and he went on to tell us how many times he had got in trouble. Apparently he was never afraid to bend the rules!
Sitting in a dark van did not make it easy to stay awake. He told us to keep talking and asked us questions about our honeymoon plans etc.
The journey didn’t last too long, the roads were quiet and it was very peaceful. It was nice to be able to see Disney at that time in the morning.

We pulled up to the entrance, which was around the back of the castle, we bypassed all the pieces they use for the floats and saw loads of workers, cleaning the streets and getting ready for opening. This would be our first visit to the Magic Kingdom and I was happy that our first glimpse of the castle was going to be such a magical experience. He drove round the corner and parked right in front of the Castle. Steven got out first and I followed.

The Castle was stunning; I was left breathless. The Castle glowed in the darkness with a faint blue aura and it looked so majestic against the black sky. I could feel the tears welling up as I stood and stared at it, it really was that beautiful. I hadn’t expected to feel so moved by a building, but it was so magical, it was like seeing your dream in front of you and capturing it after many years, and it is a feeling that I will never forget, it was perfection.

Paul told us to hang while he set up his equipment. We noticed that his camera was the same one that Randy has used but Paul also had a tripod for more set shots and a light for the obvious.

The first picture he wanted me, on my own in front of the Castle:

MK1.jpg

Steven joined me and we got a few pictures when the Castle was different colors:

MK2.jpg
Untitled-1-10.jpg
Untitled-2-7.jpg

We then moved closer to the area with Walt and Mickey and Steven got some pictures on his own:

Untitled-3-5.jpg
Untitled-4-10.jpg

This first picture is one of my favorite pictures of the shoot. I love everything about it:

Untitled-6-2.jpg
Untitled-7-2.jpg

It was time to move up the walkway towards the Castle. Paul forgot something in his van and went back to get it, so I casually waited for him. He returned and mentioned that my pose would make a good shot:

Untitled-8-2.jpg
Untitled-9.jpg

The following shot was purely accidental. There was a truck in the distance and he had a light shining towards the Castle. Paul decided that he would give it a go, thinking it may make a nice silhouette. Here was the result:

Untitled-10-1.jpg

I love it!

Here is the pic with proper lighting; I actually love them all:

Untitled-11-1.jpg
Untitled-12-1.jpg

Paul proceeded to take another one of me on the bridge:

Untitled-13.jpg

Then moved Steven in for another 2 of my favorite shots. I absolutely love them:

Untitled-14.jpg
Untitled-15.jpg

Silhouette shots work so well, and I think they are so romantic. I am definitely getting one of them blown up onto canvas. These shots alone made the MK Shoot worthwhile imo.

We then moved on to the stage, that’s right, the stage. I was so excited to be on here. Paul got this shot of me, which I absolutely love. Light and shadow produced a ghostly image. Not really an ideal wedding shot, but undeniably clever use of photography:

Untitled-16.jpg

It was time to enter the Castle. I had viewed dozens of MK Shoot pics and the inside of the Castle just didn’t do it for me. However we did manage to get a couple of good shots in here, they were also experimental, experimental because I smiled:

Untitled-17.jpg

This is another favorite of mine:

Untitled-18.jpg

Realising we weren’t that enthused with the inside of the castle, we quickly moved on outside.

We were presented with the arch. Now, I had seen several arch shots, and I knew this shot was something I wasn’t willing to compromise on. I was gonna get this shot if it meant staying here for the rest of the shoot.
Paul realised that I had seen examples of this shot and was excited to do this with someone who was willing to take their time to get it just right.
I jumped up and down at the prospect of having our photographer work with us on this. Steven had no idea what we were talking about, so he just went with the flow.

Paul decided to try this shot with different colors, this was his first attempt, the Castle was orangey gold and this reminded me of sunrise, I do really like this one and it was shot at more of a distance than the others:

Untitled-19.jpg

Paul moved closer and commented that he really wanted the Castle to be pink or purple. He spent a long time setting up his lighting equipment just so, and I started squealing that the Castle was now pink “It’s pink, its pink, no wait it’s going purple”
Paul looked up at me, smiled broadly and said, “I know’ I’m comin’ I’m comin’”.
This was the result of our efforts:

Untitled-20.jpg

We found out later that he went back and photoshopped this particular shot as he believes it to be the best arch picture he has ever taken, so here it is, the ‘money shot’:

Untitled-21-1.jpg

This is by far in the running for my favorite MK shot; I absolutely love it and Steven was very surprised at how well it turned out. I knew there was a reason to persevere with that picture.

I also really like this one; I think the blue hue, gives off an eerie glow:

Untitled-22-1.jpg

to be continued...

So completely happy that we had spent over 20 minutes at my favorite location, we moved on to the wishing well. I stood alone for a few pictures; my mom particularly loves this one:

Untitled-23-1.jpg

Steven moved in and I really like these:

Untitled-24.jpg
Untitled-25.jpg

Aqua is one of my favorite colors so that probably explains it.

It was decided that we would get a couple of pictures on the stairs of the Castle. I wasn’t sure about how these would turn out because of the perspective, but I actually quite like them, especially with the faint glow in the windows behind us:

Untitled-26.jpg
Untitled-27-1.jpg

After seeing Daniella’s MK picture in her signature, I knew that I wanted a picture beside the fountain. I think the lighting there is so romantic. Paul moved a bin out of the way and took my flowers so they would sit on the fountain. We got into position but at this point the workers were quite close by so the noise was pretty loud, Paul ended up shouting so we could hear him. Most of the time we had no idea what he was saying and I kept shouting “WHAT?” in his direction. We just did what we thought was best. Here are our shots:

Untitled-28.jpg
Untitled-29-1.jpg
Untitled-30-1.jpg

This produced 3 of my favorite shots. I just love them!

Time for Cinderellas Carousel and although I didn’t particularly want any photos here, I figured we had managed to get in enough places that I hadn’t expected so I wasn’t going to push my luck.

Getting up on the horse was not easy, and by this point I was so hot. My hair was curling and I was getting peeved that the humidity had not cooperated. I really didn’t want to get up on that blasted horse, but I did, eventually.

Untitled-31.jpg
Untitled-32.jpg

We quickly moved to the walkway again and got the compulsory walking away shot:

Untitled-33.jpg

It was getting light out and it was almost 7.00am, we waved goodbye to our MK Shoot as we realised it was over:

Untitled-34.jpg

Steven had not seen these pics before so was confused when Paul asked us to wave, hence the expression!
I am amazed at how different the Castle looks in daylight. It does still look pretty, but it’s not the same. It was magical in the dark and I felt transported to a fairytale. I am so glad that we chose to get our MK shoot as early as possible.

We bundled ourselves in the van and my dress by this point was done for. The bottom part had gotten so wet when I had gone on the stage and my flowers had oozed their green fluid onto several parts of my dress. I noticed marks all over and it was clear it had seen better days. That is why I was so surprised when Paul stopped when we reached Splash Mountain. He told us it was time for one last shot. He positioned us in front of the mountain and took a picture; you can see how tired we were by this time. I was grateful though as I had told on the drive up that it was my favorite ride.

Untitled-35.jpg

We got into the van for the last time and headed back to POFQ. We were both exhausted and all we wanted to do was go to bed and sleep. I had hoped that I wouldn’t be so tired but we barely had 3 hours sleep and we were due to go to The Pirate and Princess Party that night.
Paul dropped us off, shook Steven’s hand and gave me a hug. We would be seeing him again in a week’s time for our Honeymoon Shoot.

I was very pleased that I had requested Paul Looper. He by far exceeded my expectations. Most of our shots were posed, unlike Randy’s but I was glad that we had two different photographers that produced very different shots. In a way we came out with the best of both. We have some amazing photo journalistic work from Randy and some outstanding posed shots from Paul.

Paul was very talented and it was clear he loved his work and really took his time to give me the shot I wanted. He works under unpredictable conditions, as he has no control over parts of the park being closed, worked on, lighting etc. He even said that he would have to photoshop trucks out of some of our pictures, as there happened to be a lot of workmen that day.

I loved that he was so fun to work with, and he made the whole experience enjoyable. I would highly recommend him to any brides having the MK Photo Shoot, he spent longer with us than he was required to and really took into account the type of people we were.

We waved goodbye and walked past some people on their way to breakfast, all stopping to wish us Congratulations. The day was just awakening and we were going straight to sleep.

Coming up…

So we finally go to MGM Studios and Sci-Fi Dine-Inn.

I really love your photos. I'm so looking forward to doing this.

Good luck with your move.

Summer - What can I say but everything looks so perfect! you pictures are breath taking and the way you write your TR it feels like i'm there with you!

Can't wait to read more!

Summer,

I am so glad I decided to check the boards on more time. Your pictures are amazing.

I think it is so cool that you are moving to Toronto. That is about 10 hours from me. When you finally drive to Floriday you will need to stop in Philly to visit!

A little story from my life. My mom and step dad came down to visit me the last weekend in September, and then I went home (mostly to visit my best friend, but also to see mom again) the first weekend in October. Before I left, mom turned to me and said, "honey, don't get upset, but I need to tell you this" ...umm okay... "you need to lose weight" ... yes mom, I know... "well you've got a surprise coming in 2008" Me:  "huh?" "well, you need to lose weight" "what are you talking about?" "Savannah (goddaughter) knows what the surprise is too" I look at Savannah "If she knows, she hasn't said anything to me" Mom: "Do you want to know what the surprise is?" "NO!" "Well, don't tell DBF anything"

HMMMMM... Either he plans on taking me on a vacation that requires me to be thin and in a bikini, or something else is going on... :confused3 Ugh! I still have 3 months to go and then I don't know what is going to happen in 2008.

I'm not trying to highjack your thread or anything, but I may be stealing some of your ideas if 2008 is what I think it is.

What a magical morning at the MK! Adore the photos!

Best of luck with your move Summer.

WOW! I loved your pics...the colors, the setting...amazing!!! How special for you two...so happy for you that you have those great memories and pictures!

Law school has got to be difficult and you just planned this huge wedding, so getting back into the swing of studying has got to be difficult. I completely know what you mean about nursing not being your thing; I finally stopped doing something that didn't "do it for me" and went back to school and now LOVE what I do (I work with the criminally insane now; I just reread that and I'm guessing that it doesn't sound like a lot of fun, but to each their own :lmao: , right?). Also, best of luck with your move...one big thing after another it seems!!! :goodvibes

Thank you Summer. Were glad we went away for the weekend and made it a special time just for us, time goes so fast doesn't it, we should make time for each other.

Great news about your move to Toronto, how exciting, you'll have a wonderful life there I'm sure and so close to WDW.

I really loved the last part of your report, you looked stunning in the mk photo shoot, I just loved all of the photo's, you both looked great, I especially loved the Silhouette shots, they were beautiful also the photo's in the arch and the money shot wow amazing.

You have really planned this wedding down to the last bit perfectly, it's the nicest WDW wedding I've ever been to, you should be a wedding planner, I'll book you when we renew our vows in the future. Your wedding has been so special, Thank you for sharing it with us.

Can't wait for the next part, I don't want these to ever end.

Love Wendy xxxxx

Hi Summer!

I'm in the middle of studying for exams, so just had a few minutes to pop in. Oh my gosh!!!!! Your MK photos are INCREDIBLE!!!!! Absolutely breathtaking!!!!

Congrats on the upcoming move! Once you are settled in and start taking those road trips to WDW - we will have to have a DIS reunion!

Oh well, back to the books! Good luck with your studies as well - I will be thinking of you! :surfweb:

Hey Summer! Those shots are absolutely beautiful! I have a folder in My Documents where I save photos of wedding stuff that I really like - it's not like I'm getting married or anything, but a girl wants to be prepared right?! - and your MK photos are really awesome, I've saved a couple in my folder :) I hope you don't mind! I know I definately want to get married in Florida!

Good luck with your move to Toronto! You are really brave to make a new start like that! After we got back from Orlando, Els really loved the place and really wants to move there... while I totally fell in love with the place too, I would really miss my family and friends, and also Wales! I need to finish my PhD first anyway, but who knows! For some reason I think Tennessee would be a really great place to live!

I showed Els your V&A review, and he agreed it would be a great experience! I am going to try my hardest to get a Chef's Table reservation :teeth:

Summer, I have really enjoyed reading your report. I get so excited when I see you have added to your posts. I must say, I have been undecided on whether or not to do the MK shoot and I think your pictures have turned me into a believer. They are just wonderful. I will definately schedule this and ask for Paul as a photographer. I am planning on printing off your photos and bringing them with me as samples of what we want. Thanks so much and I really look forward to reading more.

Linda
