Summer Regular Season at AKL - What have you paid?

For those of you who have stayed at AKL in June or July (prior to the 4th), what rate were you able to get? Any good discounts? Right now, it is $239 for Standard View, $260 for Pool View, and $315 for Savanna View, which seems a bit expensive. Have you gotten any great rates during this time? I really hope to stay at AKL, however, we'll need two rooms and it just seems like it would be too much for what we'd get.

we had AP rate of $109 per night(upgraded to pool view from standard view at no charge or request for that matter) in june 2002. AKL is an awesome resort and I'm hoping we can get some great AP rates again in 2004.

We stayed in early June on a code rate of $129 (for standard). However, we were upgraded to Savanna upon check-in so it was a SUPER bargain!!!

We are also hoping to get a good AP rate for early June. We are planning on staying AKL concierge and need 2 rooms. The one room is for my DBrother and DSIL (honeymoon). We just returned from there and loved it!! Don't want to stay anywhere else now.

Should the AP rates be coming out around April/May?
