Summer Promos?!?

Hi. I am wondering when Summer Promos come out and what the time frame for them usually are?

I REALLY want to spend my Birthday at Disneyland with some friends and some are on a tight budget and would have to travel by air to get there.

Also which week would be better crowd wise. June 7-10 or June 12-15... I have a Deluxe AP so I cannot enter on Saturday the 11th. My actual birthday is June 14th...

Is that time in June usually under summer promos or spring promos?

They haven't mentioned any promos and there may not be any this year! Hopefully after Christmas holidays something will be announced.

I'm not talking about the Get in free on your Birthday or the Give a Day Get a Day Promos. I am not expecting a promo like that.

I'm talking more like the 5 days for the price of 3? Does anyone know when that was announced last year for the summer?

Right now there is a promo for slightly discounted tickets for Admission January 2-April 14.

Puala I'd go for the earlier option. In June the month ramps up as more kids finish school.


You might make reseravtions soon just to lock in cheap prices.


As far as summer promos. Disney usually waits until people are locked into going a the next season rather than realeasing deals a long way out that let people delay trips. This keep people hoping for something better and bringing thier money to Disney or any business later of never. It will probably be late winter or early Spring break when we hear what the summer promotions will be.

I guess I'm confused. Why do you need 5 days for 3 if you have an AP? Do you mean for other people going with you? For hotels? The Little Mermaid ride is scheduled to open this summer. Don't know the date, but you might want to check that first if you want to see it.

Oh, I just saw a Costco ad for a 4 day park hopper for $199 with a $50 gift card. Don't know when the PH are good for or when they must be used by.

To answer your question: The 5 for 3 promo has been announced late March/early April the last two years for travel starting in May. The winter/early spring promo tickets are good through April 14 so I'd expect the next round of discounts (if there are any) to be announced right around then.

You're right! I went back to look at the details. I'm up here about 2 hours north of you and I got that ad in my email. Why would they advertise to everyone if it was only for a small group? How crummy!

It was definitely late March or April. I was thinking sometime in April if I remember right. I thought to myself, wow, thats late.
