Summer Pass / AP Upgrade questions

I tried to search for an answer to my questions, but could not find what I am looking for.

Here are my questions:

- I won a 3-day Summer Pass (one park per day)
- Can I apply this to renewing my Deluxe Annual Pass?
- What would be the applied value?

Any specific information would be helpful. We are trying to figure out a plan of action. Thank you!

When you say, "won," do you mean directly from Disney? If so, my guess is that it ha no actual value. If you won it from a 3rd party, you have to find out what value it has been given. Then, your AP cost would be the cost of your renewal for deluxe, minus the value of the 3day.

If they are 'comp' tickets, there is no value and you cannot upgrade them. Once you get the tickets check the back. If it says "complimentary"or some version there of, you won't be able to use them to upgrade.

If in doubt, take them to the AP processing center and see what they say.

Thanks guys. The ticket does not say Complimentary anywhere on it. Sounds like we won't know until we get there?

I've heard that you can not apply anything towards a AP renewal? If it was a new AP, we might be able to? Since these will expire before our AP expiration date, I don't think it will help my "plot to renew" but I'm trying! Thanks for your help.

Sorry, I didn't catch it was an AP renewal. You are correct that they don't let you apply any type of used ticket media to your AP renewal, but they have let folks use UNUSED tickets apply to the AP renewal.

That is, if there is a value to the tickets.
