Summer Park Hours

Does anyone know why summer park hours haven't been updated yet? Our trip is June 15-22nd and MDE is still showing MK closing at 10pm every night (12am for EMH). I know previous summers the parks have had extended hours. MDE also still shows HS closing at 8:30 and I specifically remember there being two different Fantasmic times past 8:30 in previous summers...
I'm just confused. And I could be wrong. But it's making my trip planning very worrisome...

They just extended May hours a few days ago. It seems they are updating later than normal - I think? - this year.

I've been keeping an eye on this too and am hoping that an update to the hours is coming soon. Well be there June 18-25 and parks closing at 10pm is just odd to us compared to our summer trips to DL.

You all read my mind. I was just going to ask the same thing. We will be there June 18 and MK closes at 10pm. I wonder if they're waiting to see how successful the after hours thing is going to be? So far it sounds like it's not too popular. Wish we could get some info. from some CMs working those.

A cursory scan of EasyWDW looks like they often do a fairly major update to hours about 6 weeks before beginning of the month, though sometimes lately it's been only 4 weeks out, with another update (fewer major changes) within a week or few days of month beginning. Of course lots of people report seeing park hours extended on the very day sometimes.

If I had a June trip, right now I'd be pretty antsy that I can't solidify my plans much right now. I'd save the real jitters until about May 1, if hours aren't extended by then, and still hold out the last hope til May 31!

Unfortunately, while some items have an announced start date there are others that are unannounced. Between the known and the unknown it's not outside the realm of possibilities that most could be open all within a month of each other - and all before the end of June.

Anyone with a trips over the next 2-3 months really needs to monitor the changes on the DISboards morning, noon and night. And folks planning trips through the end of this year need to touch base daily at least. I'm just hoping there's enough info known to make some educated guesses for upcoming ADRs, etc. when I have to plan my park days in mid-May for a November trip.

I've been checking myself and I don't know what is going on this year. What also worries me is that the past 2 years when they finally extended the summer hours, they switched the emh as well to other nights and messed up my plans. Waiting to see what happens this year.
