Summer Package Codes??

Hi! Anyone else waiting to see if they'll release another 7/4 or 4/3 deal like in summers past? I have 3 pins for free quick service dining, but they have to be used with a full price room so it's really not a good deal since the current 20% off your room would save more money than the value of the QSDP (or it would be a similar amount.) We're just really hoping they release another great deal like last summer, but I'm getting tired of waiting

They had it this year as well as the last 2 years but you had to book by the near end of March.

I thought the deals that had to be booked by the end of March were:

* Full price package, but receive a gift card
* Percentage discount based on resort type


I don't recall there being a buy ___ nights, get ___ free offer this year past stays through March. I know they released one that was good for stays through the end of March, but nothing after that.

Yes some codes for summer stays did have to be booked by march 27.

There is a current % off code that can be used for the summer. It is 15% at values and 20% at mods (I think).

Are you sure about your math though in which is the better deal. if you have atleast 2 adults and you are getting QSDP either way (or eating comparably to the QSDP) you may find it a better deal. i have no idea how many people are in your group. But say a moderate with summer rates (since you are referencing the 20% off) - you save about $41/night. That is about the same value as 1 adult and 1 child free QSDP.

They have already offered 3 different specials for the summer. (+ the visa deal) Most expected this last deal announced to be for fall. Something else may well come, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Based on a lot of reading onhere, I do expect another summer offer, just not sure it is what you are mentioning. I have heard it might be tomorrow and don't look for falls deals for a few more weeks...

I'm pretty sure that's an accurate paraphrase, but I am positive about the hint at a summer promo this week on Thursday.

So I'd say, the chances are VERY GOOD!

I've been following the thread - those who said this also said earlier on that Fall codes would come out in mid to end of April. But now they say May, and also the possibility of another summer offer.

The way I see it, if another offer does come out for summer it will be worse than this one. Maybe a Kids stay/play with without dining (I don't think the kids only work at all). It will have to be different than he other ones that came out earlier, but not better than those. They have less rooms to fill.

Thanks, and you're right. If we're staying value or mod the dining is actually a slightly better deal, but I don't know that we'd eat at the places that would make it the best 'value.' I added up our dining costs from our last trip (we do eat mostly QS) and it added up to less than $60 per day (we are 2 adults.) Therefore, I don't know that we wouldn't be better off with a room percentage discount or free nights. Here's hoping for tomorrow!!

I don't think a new offer necessarily will be worse because of less rooms. The fact that there have been so many summer offers makes it seem like desperation and the last one could be the best. I'm not saying it will be, just that anything's possible at this point. Disney certainly hasn't been following suite with the discounts this year. If I had to guess I'd say it was going to be the Visa offer made public. Which is a great deal for some people.

That's what we were saying too. Nothing against the people it helps, but the offer is more of a 'perceived' value offer. We don't have kids, so it does nothing for us

Evidently bookings are really down for that time period. Disney typically doesn't offer any discounts for summer travel.

They must be really down because we always go in the summer and last year we booked in February and had a hard time finding availability for what we needed. Now it's April and I searched wdw.com and found TONS of stuff still available.

Just thought I'd link this post here since it's sharing something for May-early June for kids. It's really a pretty lame offer and I can't believe that it's really the 'big' thing everyone's been waiting for Still nothing on mousesavers, though, so I'm waiting to see if maybe there's more to it?

Come on WDW!!!! How many years have all of us been coming to WDW!?! This will be my 5th visit ( I think its good for only being 22!) GIVE US A GOOD DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Right now my fam and i are staying may 15-19th $499 includeds park tix, hotel and base meal plan. It is an ok deal but, thats 3 ppl. that adds up!!! its not such a great deal for 3, maybe for 2 it would be but it just seems like a lot of money for a short stay!! if anybody hears anything POST POST POST!!
