Summer hours

I'm a little confused about the potential for park hours to change later in the summer. Do I understand correctly that the hours currently on the Disneyworld site calendar will likely change between now and July (basically extend, it sounds like)? If so, will EMH still be on the same day for each park?

For instance, for 7/18 the calendar shows MK open from 9am to 10pm with EMH until midnight. How would extended summer hours likely affect this schedule?

The answer is maybe, maybe not. Really. In years past, MK was typically open until 11pm. Last summer, it was 10pm often. So really, nobody knows for sure.

If it's already scheduled to be open until 10pm with EMH until midnight, that may not change at all even if hours are extended.

A big wild card this summer will be Toy Story Land and what they do with HS hours. Last summer AK had a lot of longer hours and EMHs due to Pandora, and like PP said, MK hours trended a little earlier. One would assume you'll see the same longer hours and EMH at HS this summer, but no one really knows for sure. Disney hasn't been updating hours until around a month(ish) out lately, so it's a bit of a wait-and-see pattern, for better or worse.

Hours between now and July to change, yes.

Hours for March will be updating soon. Hours are usually updated about a month out.

Anticipate the emh days to stay the same, but check them prior to your trip as they can change as well

The EMH will most likely be the same days of week for that park as before, but possibly take place at an earlier (for AM EMH) or later (for PM EMH) time due to park hour extensions.

And a park with new attractions might add bonus EMH that weren't previously available for that park.
