Canceled our July trip to BLT when it was announced that only 2 parks would be open for the first 4 days of our trip. Rescheduled to January 3rd. A lot has changed in Florida, and really everywhere else south and west of where I am here in PA. We would've been leaving next Friday to start our trip, but now I'm kind of glad we're not going.

Is anyone still going? If so, what are you planning, if anything, that you would not have normally done before? Would love to hear peoples thoughts on WDW in the current environment.

If you are going, have fun, be safe!

My daughter and I are heading down from July 21-24. I have an AP, but she doesn't have a park ticket so we're sticking to our resort (Saratoga Springs) and Disney Springs. While I'm a little nervous about going, I feel we can better control our proximity to other people better if we limit ourselves to the resort and Springs.

Yes..I have trips scheduled in August, October, December, January, February and April booked!

We were supposed to leave tomorrow but ended up canceling...not my choice..lol

My daughter and I are leaving on Thursday to attend the MK AP preview on Friday and then the opening of MK on Sat. We’ll do AK as well. We usually have a pretty set touring plan each day in recent trips. With no FP+ and few table service restaurants, we are forced to take a more chill approach. We may not get to do everything we normally do, but that is actually probably a good thing. We’ll go with the flow and just enjoy a daddy/daughter trip.

My son and I both have an AP, but luckily for us we haven't activated it yet, so the "clock" hasn't started. We take an annual father/son 4-day weekend where, thanks to the laundry in the DVC room, we each bring nothing but a backpack. I think MK could be in a 5 alarm fire and he'd still insist on riding the 3 mountains since we were at the resort.

But I do agree with your plan. Saratoga and the nice walk or boat ride to Disney Springs is a good break from the last few months, and still a bit of Disney.

We have moved our stay out to Vero and plan to isolate there as much as we can. We have to fly into Orlando which is causing me anxiety. We are on SW and the number of people flying is really down so we are counting on more distancing than usually possible at the airport. I’m waffling a lot and may still pull the plug. We would lose banked and OTU points but eliminate the risk! Each step seems feasible but as a whole it’s a little scary. I keep hoping for progress in the numbers each day but it’s sure not changing except to increase 😢

We switched to a Vero Beach vacation in August and hopefully to a resort only stay in November at Wilderness Lodge...maybe if i can get my hands on a ticket we will go to magic kingdom.

Absolutely still going. Currently scheduled for September, October, December, March. We go often enough that missing a few experiences won’t matter. It will give us the opportunity to slow down and enjoy the experiences that are available. Usually we go at 110% all day every day.

Checking in on July 18th! Doing split stays at BWV, CCV, and SSR. Decided last minute to use free HS tickets Disney gave us on our last trip in February when ROTR broke down on us three times in one day. (Figured they were free and wanted to see what the reduced capacity is like!) Besides that one day we are just chilling at the resorts, bringing bikes down to bike around, eating at all new restaurants (we are kind of a foodie family), and for the first time going to go horseback riding at FW.

Right now we have plans for September and December. September will happen if quarantine isn’t still necessary. We cancelled November since it included a cruise.

I had some orphaned points in the November trip that a Chat with Patricia cleared. They were used when the September trip was rebooked for me. I was surprised there was still so much available in September.

We were scheduled to go September 20 but canceled. I do not believe we will be any better and probably hitting a second wave of this pandemic. I will truly be surprised if Disney is open. We hope to schedule our next trip for October 2021 when we hopefully have a vaccine. Everyone still planning I wish you luck and hope you enjoy.

Plans to go in September & December. If the Florida quarantine is lifted by September, I'll still go. I live alone, so I'm not concerned about possible family spread. That said, if the numbers continue to get worse I'll probably cancel.

Not going... our April trip was canceled and moved to August which we have since canceled. Also canceled our July Aulani trip. We still have a September VGC reservation that I need to figure out since it uses banked points and it's at the end of our UY (those points were originally from the April trip and we had them reallocated when we canceled). I'm pregnant, we have two little ones, and we live across the country from WDW, so it's just not a good idea for us to go. We also had a November trip booked for F&W plus a Disney cruise but that was going to be canceled regardless due to having a newborn. We'll have to see how next year goes since we have a lot of points banked from this year but not sure when we'll feel comfortable going again.

Got three more trips planned (flying which takes less than two hours from Indy) - August, September and January. Plan to be careful just like I do at home. I am only staying a few days at DVC on each trip. Most of my 9 day trips are in large 2 and 3 bedroom Marriott Vacation Club villas with sprawling grounds and outside entrances so no problem to social distance around the resorts I am staying at

NO stinking way..... not just WDW: Airlines, cross state quarantines.... not touching it. We cancelled three 2020 trips. Next reserved trip: APR 2021. And that's "iffy".

PS - if you did the same? TRAVELEX totally folded. No compensation. Not bothering with fake trip insurance, in the future.

Our March vacation was postponed to mid-October 2020. We ended up switching from Jambo CL to a studio at the Poly. We have our tickets and park reservations for our entire trip and will work on dining at 60 days. We plan to go with the flow and stay as safe as possible during our trip. It may not be the typical WDW vacation, but we will make the best of it.

We have a late September/early October trip.

We're waiting to see how things go. Haven't cancelled anything. I have park tickets, but was planning to spend one day at Universal with my Harry Potter obsessed daughter. I'm waiting to buy those until we're certain.

My state has generally flattened and reduced covid, but people generally take masks seriously here and there's enforcement from most businesses. I'm hoping Florida starts to get it. Fingers crossed.

Anyhow, I'm giving it to the end of the month. I have til then to bank my points for this UY. The things that will make us cancel is:
- The pandemic not calming down/Florida travelers having to quarantine.
- Early reports of a terrible park experience.
- Disney not enforcing safety measures.

We arrive July 19th for 6 nights! SSR. Park Days every day. Can't wait, we wish it was under better circumstances but we have been planning this trip for almost 2 years and have very limited available travel days for our extended family group. We plan on making the best of it and try to forget all this stress for at least 7 fun filled park days. I wish everyone a magical trip (for those going) and of course good health! Stay Safe.

I’m right with you. Canceled several 2020 trips and rescheduled WDW for January 2021, but I’m assuming that Is 50/50 on us going. Too much of a fundamental divide in this country on what should be common sense: listen to doctors and scientists.

We moved our annual July 4th PVB trip to 7/17 for 10 nights (12 of us)
We have October-PVB, Thanksgiving - BRV (12 of us), and Christmas-VGF trips as well.

To date, we have five trips scheduled for 2021 plus a Cruise.
