Arts and Crafts summer crafts for tweens

i will be helping my daughter teach crafts this summer and we are looking for easy, fast ideas for teens.
Friendship bracelets, duct tape wallet/ID holders, and decorate your own felt ears headbands have all made the cut.

Any new ideas out there?

Mini scrapbooks, felt alien pillows, yarn weaving on sticks were all given a no.

If you are still looking for ideas Not really sure how this will go over for tweens but I paint peg people. You can either order the plain wood forms from online (cheaper) or get some from a craft store like Michaels etc. They could paint them like themselves or family or sports team or super heros etc. Pinterest has gobs of ideas...where I get most of mine. ( sorry but it seems most of my dolls happen to be girls)

My tween nieces and nephews loved when I taught them how to use gimp/plastic lacing ( seems to have different names regionally) for bracelets and key chains
