We got a big dog last weekend. This week has been ALL about walking the dog, keeping her separated from the cat and making sure she doesn't growl at the kids. On the good side, I have been staying very active. The walks are shorter and less intense than a great workout but there are several of them through out the day. I'm hoping it equals out and I can still burn some calories until I get everything settled down and can get back to long, hard workouts.
I've been making smoothies in the mornings so i can get some good nutrition and walk around drinking it (LOL Mom on the Move.) I use a container low fat vanilla yogurt, a little milk, fresh strawberries and some instant breakfast chocolate powder. They are yummy.
ANYWAY, I'm down 3 pounds since the beginning....3/12

, but it sure seems to be working out really well for me.

Today, I decided to break with that tradition. SUCCESS!!!!!!! I am down 6.5 pounds!!!!
So, mark me 6.5/15.
I would love to take the challenge!!
I'm the only one who raises my hand to answer questions, and I answer ALL of them. The leader is SO perky and humorous, and I don't understand how she manages to enjoy herself with the wet-dishrag-gang as her audience.
( To be completely fair, Ive only been to 2 Saturday meetings so far. Maybe things will warm up soon.)
