Summer Challenge...

I really want to join your challenge. I have not signed up on wish. My goal is to lose 25lbs. I will also commit to exercising 5 days a week, and drinking 8 glasses of water a day. I really need all of your support. The ironic thing was I just logged on to wish to get meal ideas for WW. I am currently no doing anything for weight loss, and I just saw your challenge. Everytime I log onto the wish board I always seem to miss the challenges and I am always in envy of all of your success. Thanks!

I'm down .5 this week...going to try and slimfast 2 meals a day to jump start me for a 2 pound loss this week...I WANT THAT 60 POUND CLIPPIE!!! :)

I will accept the summer challange and my goal is to lose 12 pounds by June 21 which is also my weight loss goal. :cheer2:

I lost my weight with Weight Watchers and Richard Simmons tapes. When our daughter saw my success, she started using the tapes, too. She still has little ones at home. They do the tapes with her. I'm a WW, too. If you haven't already found it, try out Dotti's Weight Loss Zone. There is a section about restaurants with the stuff they sell and the number of points. I would love to join the summer challenge! I would like to lose 20 pounds by summer. my first goal is to lose ten by May 8th we go to california (not getting to disney this time!! :sad2: I have joined the exercise challenge too this month. I don't know how to do the clip art though for my signature.

I'm at my moms now so don't have all my programs to update the charts. I will update this evening though. I have some family crisis' going on. My little daycare baby's mom was pulled over Thursday on way to pick her dd up and her friend said she was in some trouble. So whatever that means. And I'm interviewing for a job Wednesday to go back to work out of the home Full Time to get some debt taken care of and more income is needed. It will be decent paying job if I can get it. My brother works there and says they hire everyone. LOL Then I was told my grandfather probably won't make it through the weekend. :( :sad2: So I've been pretty pre-occupied. I'm getting back on track this weekend so next week will be back to exercising and journaling my food for Weight Watchers.

I'll add all the new peeps tonight. I may switch to a more basic chart to be able to keep it up easier. If I get this new job my time will be even more strapped. :)

Hey.......you just take care of you. Don't worry about the chart. I'm sure I speak for everybody, I'm stickin' with the program, with or without a chart, :) so you just take care of what you need to take care of. We'll be here......we're not going anywhere. :)

Melissa - sorry about your grandfather. :grouphug: It's hard to lose a loved one no matter their age. I lost my grandmother (who was 100) last month.

I updated the chart. Changed it to simple one that I can update easier. :)




I weighed in at my moms tonight and am not happy with it at all. I showed me up A LOT!!! I know I was lazy the last couple weeks and Easter weekend I had way too many jelly beans and Reese's peanutbutter cup miniatures. :guilty: I'll see the official damage on Monday when I weigh in officially but I'm also gonna be starting great ol' aunt flo in the next 4 days or so. Blah!! I'm sure I'm retaining water but I also have been off plan. Getting back on this weekend for a GOOD week next week. Gonna do a lot of housework tomorrow and take dd out in the stroller in the afternoon but Monday back to the grind and doing WATP and my strength routine. :) I know I can do this I can get active and watch what I eat its not that hard. ;) I'd so LOVE to start fitting in my clothes better. Plus with new job I'll probably starting next month I will need some nicer clothes for work and I don't wanna spend too much now in hopes that I'll loose down quite a bit in the next 6 months.

We were thinking of heading to Florida this summer or early fall and I think we may make it October maybe even a Christmas visit. I really wish we could do July for my dd's birthday as I know how much my dad would enjoy spending a birthday with her there. I just don't think we will have the finances to do it even though we will probably be flying dirt cheap(as in just taxes) and of course stay with my dad(no hotel cost) and my step brother's wife has some tickets we could use for A day. If we went in July it would be a quick trip but we have to weigh the options. Anyway since we probably will wait until October for dh to have vacation time(we had at first though September maybe) I will have a little bit longer to lose a bit more weight. ;) I would love to see 50-60 lbs gone by October. If we make it a Disney Holiday I'd be shooting for 70-80 lbs. I would love to shock my dad by being A LOT lighter. So gonna work really hard at this exercise thing since I know its key for me. Plus I want this to be a lifestyle not just diet so I'd gain it all back KWIM? :)

Yeah I have known about dottis page for years since I did WW 4-5 years ago. :) Lost nearly 40 lbs in 20 weeks without exercise of any great amount(a day here and there but thats it) and lifestyle changed and I gained back. :(

I do Walk Away The Pounds and have done Tae Bo a couple times. Gotta build endurance for Tae Bo again its tough for 30 minutes. I was so sore the next day especially when I also did my strength workout that night after it. Whoa I was sore for a couple days.

I think my mom and I were gonna get Richard Simmons a long time ago I've done parts of it when he was on tv. But that was back when I was in high school living at home and all.

I'll also get back into walks outside pushing my dd in stroller but it will get HOT here quick(in Arizona) and I'll stick to indoor workouts for summer. Since I may be starting a much much higher paying job I may eventually get a gym membership down the road a few months.
 
Count me in!! I want to lose 25 by summer!! Then I will be 5 lbs lighter than I was before I got married. I have done great this month with the exercise challenge. I love challenges....of course its only day 2 LOL!! But I will get through it!!

Down 4.8 so far. These challenges really help me. It is nice to be accountable to someone besides myself (I am easily swayed by my dark sides!)
