Summer Bay vs. Silver Lake vs. Vacation Village

Have you stayed at any of the resorts listed above. Do you have pros or cons? Thanks!

unless you have one of the houses won't do summer bay - too far

silver lake is very, very close - like a minute from AK

VV is very nice stayed there often with RCI getaways.

so guess would go with Silver lake - if you get the same size unit with all of them.

ask for 9403 because you can see the fireworks at night

We have stayed at Summer Bay, and really liked it, but, as stated, it IS a little farther down 192. We stayed in a condo there (I have a review on DIS), and it was great. We loved the resort amenities.... the pools were good, etc. I would stay there again in a heartbeat, but, Silver Lake is MUCH closer to Disney property, we drove by it on Sherberth road and I was amazed how close it was!

We had one the houses at Summer Bay and that made the longer drive well worth it...for us. I have not stayed at Silver Lake but drove past it on the way to the Disney Parks almost every day. It is VERY close to the Animal Kingdom and the other parks using Sherberth Road. The grounds appeared very well taken care of.
