Does anyone know when the itineraries for Summer '27 will come out? We're looking to take a multi-gen cruise but with a pretty specific itinerary. It doesn't seem like longer itineraries are that consistent year to year on Disney so not sure if I can use those to get an idea of what they'll have.

Grandpa wants an itinerary either leaving or arriving in Venice (Ravenna). Currently we're looking at 10 day Ravenna to Rome itinerary that stops in Croatia too. Going to Athens would also be an option (but thats basically it). Any experts have an idea how likely it is that this could even exist? We're ok waiting but if it isn't going to happen I'd like to book sooner rather than later since we need 3 rooms.

Disney Cruise typically announces summer cruises in February or March of the previous year, so summer 2027 will probably be announced within the next 3 or 4 months.

As far as I can tell, DCL has never sailed to or from Ravenna, and hasn't visited Venice since 2014. The Dream is going to Dubrovnik, Croatia, in June 2026, which is the first stop there since 2022 (which was the first since 2014). So a stop in Croatia is possible, but Ravenna is unlikely (but not impossible).

DCL has been stopping Piraeus near Athens several times each summer starting in 2022, so cruises stopping there in 2027 are very likely.

So helpful thanks! It doesn't sound like it's worth waiting since I think Ravenna is the priority here.

He has 3 trips left that he wants to take while he still can and Eastern Med is one of them (and we can't take the kids on a Viking Cruise). I really appreciate you sharing all your knowledge!

The large cruise ships really wreaked havoc on Venice's delicate "arrested state of decay". Lots of protests. No longer allowed. Ravenna is a 2 hour bus ride (90 miles) away from Venice. Maybe you could fly into the Venice airport (or take the train there) before or after your cruise if you really want to see the city. It's pretty amazing. HUGELY crowded in the summer though.

Oh I didn't realize how far it was! Probably he wants that to be one end to make sure we can get to Venice.

From the Venice Airport you can take a boat (scheduled service) into Venice proper. Takes about 50 minutes but it’s a cool ride! To see Venice from Ravenna would mean 4 hours on a bus round trip.

Also 2027 the Wish is supposedly the ship going to Europe and then she can do her 5 year dry dock. So I don’t know if that would effect the itineraries since Wish runs a different fuel than earlier ships
