We've had our first-visit trip in mid-July planned for 9 months, so of course we're feeling bummed/cheated about a few big rides being down, as well as what looks like one of the prettiest parts of disneyland totally closed. We were hoping for Rogers in the Hyperion too, as we assumed there would be a show there during the summer!
I know there will still be a lot to see and do, and all the nighttime shows and parades, but I am wondering if it would be better to punt to a 2025 summer trip? Since it's an anniversary year, will there be more likelihood for theatrical shows and less construction? I'm really struggling with what to do. It's obviously expensive for a midwest family of 6 to fly to California, so I want to have the best chance at a good experience. Everything is refundable for this July trip.
What would you do?
Thanks.
