I don't remember it...I wonder if this is because the Disney Visa promo ended?

ETA: See that others are speculating it is because of that and only on the CFW.

What are the current incentives? I saw Animal kingdom and Saratoga are incentivized right now, but it just says to ask your guide. Curious if anyone here has the details before I go wasting my guides time by getting his hopes up of direct sale.

We are on the Disney Magic and at the DVC member event they told us they were extending the Disney Visa promo but only for those onboard. We are *hopefully* about to close on some resale VGC points so I’m not in the mood for more direct points, but I thought it was interesting.

Typical guide sales push. I was also on the Magic (got back Monday from a 4 night Bahamas cruise) and as usual stopped by DVC desk for free goodies every day, but also sat down with a guide to ask about current incentives and/or anything special on the boat. Since I’m in the midst of closing on my CFW contract it matters to me if those incentives move. Guide reasoned that the additional $1K welcome home credit was solely related to Visa promo ending, and had nothing to do with being on the boat. Tells you something about how ambiguously the sales process really works.

The white hat is pretty sharp looking— I’d never buy it because I would expect it to be destroyed quickly with beach and theme park grime, but I was happy to take a couple for free. The cinch bag and plastic luggage tags haven’t changed in a couple years—bummed that we missed the sliders if they are different from the ones we got at WDW last week.

Yes! We are still in FLL tonight, in fact. Sorry we missed you, would have been happy to meet up. If you saw a pair of blonde kids about the same height pounding free mocktails (next to a mom working on her laptop) during the member event, that was us, lol. We also watched sunset every night but I’m not sure which day that is.

We were at the Member Event as well (side note: personally not a fan of the blue prosecco drink. I preferred the rum drinks they used to have...). We actually met with a guide, but did not find anything appealing. I can't remember what I wore that day, perhaps my Alaska Member Cruise t-shirt...
