We just got back on Sunday from our first ever trip on Saturday, November 5th.
We had a great, great, great time and will probably try to go once a year considering it is only a four hour drive for us from Las Vegas.
I had spent a LOT of time researching the park and learning about fastpass, etc. In the end, we didn't even get ONE fastpass all day long. We rode the "musts" for us first thing in the morning and the longest wait we had was 10 minutes at Space Mountain. We did ride Haunted Mansion later in the day and it was a 35 minute wait in the standby line, but it was totally worth it.
The Christmas Parade taping was sort of annoying in the crowd that it created down Main Street, but the rest of the park was fine. The only thing that aggravated me was that you couldn't really walk up to the castle at all, all day long. That was sort of a bummer, but hey, there's always next time.
As far as the food, we ate at Riverbelle Terrace (I think I got that right), The Hungry Bear, and Red Rockett's Pizza Port and I thought it was pretty darn good for theme park food, all of it.
I LOVED Captain EO (duh, huge MJ fan right here) and had to have a plush Fuzzball, but now I'm regretting not buying Hooter, too.
I did get a shirt, though.
Merchandise is expensive, but I had a BLAST shopping in the stores on Main Street. If I had more money, there's no telling what all I would have come back with!
So, I just signed up for a Disney Visa to earn reward dollars to go back!
