Summary of changes on embarkation day?
So will be cruising next week for the first time post Covid. In the past once you were “welcome” aboard we, and many others, make a mad dash to cabanas or elsewhere for lunch. At 1 PM rooms are usually ready and people did various things such as pool deck or sign up for various last-minute available things. Muster drill was usually at a set time later for all.

I’ve been watching some YouTube videos and I figured out that once you get on board you stand on your circle and there’s a little mini show. What changes are after this? I know that you need to do your Muster on your own with your app ( is there a large time window for this or does this have to be before lunch? Then I recall seeing some thing that after the welcome show you’re done taken into an area to go through the app set up? I’m just curious what’s the deal with lunch then? What are the various things you HAVE to do once you’re bored in a certain order? Thanks

The only thing you HAVE to do is go scan your muster location at some point. Not sure what the deadline is on that, I assume they start tracking people down who haven't before departure. After the mini show in lobby they corral you to the forward elevators to manage traffic flow anyway, where they then showed us our muster location was G just up from there, so we did it right away, took about 5 seconds, then went from there straight to Cabanas. Lunch is wherever whenever like normal, rooms weren't til 3pm for Magic out of Miami. All the sign ups are via the app, no raffles or tours, so not really anything to do at all after boarding other than eat, play, and wait for your room.

Ok thanks ! I didn’t realize that the rooms were ready only at 3 PM. Do you have to know how long they were holding those navigator app trainings? My mom could really use one but we would prefer to eat lunch first.
