Suites to hold large number?

8ppl in desert in suiet would be like 25 or 40 a kid if the room is 150-200 a night

The Desert Inn C-2 sleeps 10..and you can add a roll-away. Not nearly as nice as the DL hotel, but it's actually closer to the park!

Oh my gosh! I just wanted to say what a fabulous idea for an after prom party!! It's something fun for the kids yet you will be close by to keep an eye on them. I would second Desert Inn and Suites for the cost effectiveness of it all. If this is for prom then that would be spring right? So if you book now at Desert Inn it will be pretty cheap, versus waiting until the time gets closer. They don't charge you until 2 days before your arrival so you would be free to change your mind and cancel your reservations. Just a thought good luck and happy planning!

Standard rooms hold up to 5 people. 1-bedroom suites hold up to six, and then you have 2-3 bedroom suites. A 1-bedroom suite is more expensive than two standard rooms, so if you're looking for the most economical at a Disney hotel, I recommend getting connecting/adjacent rooms, so that the ones who have connecting can leave the doors open -- for Disney that is your best option.

Keep in mind that if there are minors in the room then the minimum age for the adult is 21. So a roomful of 18 year olds would be acceptable to Disney, but not a mix of 18/17 year olds.

I think Desert Inn is a good choice, and so is Camelot - right across the street

I have a question! Would you be staying just that 1 night? If so then I hardly see any value in this plan because the prom probably won't let out til 10 or 11. By the time they get to the hotel it won't be til around midnight... Then to have to check out by noon the next day would suck!

Thank you all so so much for the help! There are some great options - I am going to talk it over with my daughter and see what we decide.

We will only stay one night, but the plan was to get there when check in is, so the girls can get ready there and hang out in the room and then go straight to pictures and the dance. Then the next day they will be heading to Disneyland and using the pool!
