Just reading the post from "The Land and Sea Guy" that says they were giving up their Roy Disney suite and it was mentioned that they would love to go but could not afford the suite,

My questions are about the costs of the suites, Cat 1, Cat 2, Cat 3, What would be the average costs for these suites, lets say per adult or per family?

I know the old adage is if you have to ask the price then you can't afford it, but for familys it might make sense!! Have cruised once before on the Magic, any help greatly appreciated.

We booked one cat 5 and one cat 10 for our family on our last cruise, so it would be nice to know some dollar figures for these suites to plan an other trip, our party of 4 adults one youth:p

Pricing depends on the length of the cruise, obviously, but on the 7-night cruise the Cat. 1s go for $3900 to $4800 per PERSON for the first and second passenger, and $400 to $1200 per person for additional passengers.

Cat. 2s are $3600 to $4500 per person for 1st and 2nd passengers and $400 to $1200 for additional passengers.

Cat. 3s are $3000 to $3800 per person for 1st and 2nd passengers and $400 to $1200 for additional passengers.

Hope that helps! :)

Thanks, that was what we were looking for. It looks like I will have to be one of those extra persons to save some money, hope the family understands!!:smooth: :smooth:

My cruise booklet shows the rates that Michelle posted but it shows the 3rd, 4th and 5th guest rates for Categores 1, 2 and 3 as follows:

Under age 3 - $119
Ages 3-12 - $399 - $999
All other - $599 - $1,499

Ok let's say that I can talk the family into going on a cruise again (lol) :smooth: what are the chances of getting one of the suites.

Does it take calling day after day to check ressies, or checking the Disney cruise web site. Some help on past experiences on just how long in advance you would have to book.

With only two cat 1 suites they would be the hardest to book but the cat 2 & 3 must be easier.

What time of year to book would also be helpful. We are looking for a late November date on the seven day Magic, then over to the World for Very Merry Christmas 2003.

Thanks:bounce: :Pinkbounc

There are only 2 each of the Cat 1 and 2 suites and, I think, 18 of the Cat 3s. If you want one of them, I would call ASAP. Last weekend we booked for April 2004 and there were only 6 Cat 3s left. You can also call DCL and get on the waitlist for one, if they are all booked.
