we've stayed onsite at USO 3 times, but our next trip will be a budget trip w/ 5 people, including my mother. I would like to find something very close to USO that would comfortable sleep 5 people and has a refrigerator, micorwave and coffee maker in the room.
We will be going ;ate Jan when crowds are pretty low so hopefully we won't miss FOTL too much. We went in mid Jan in 2002 and didn't need FOTL at all.

I would suggest the amerisuites on international drive. Here is the info.

Amerisuites
8741 International dr.
Orlando, FL 32819

Tell them you have an entertainment card. I have a ressie for a satuday night and it is 70.00 plus tax. You get a suite with 2 queens or one king with living area and kitchenette with dishes and silverware. The living area has a pull out full size sofa bed. And not only that but you get a free breakfast in the morning.

i choose this hotel because it is in a very nice area. The hotel is pretty new. I like the refrigorator and microwave factor. And the extra living space in the room. And because we get a free breakfast in the morning( a great money saver).

PS I am pretty picky and if I would not stay there a second time I would not recommend it to anyone.

Note to find this hotel. Go South on International drive. If you pass the rebok store( It will be on the left) you will have went to far. This hotel is south of sandlake.
