Has anyone syaed at this property? do you have any opions ? They are offering a really good deal but I want to make sure it's a good deal????

I am not familiar with that hotel, but go to www.tripadvisor.com and do a search on that hotel.
Anytime I am looking for a hotel, I go to that site and check out the reviews. Hope this helps:goodvibes

Two female tourists were mugged while returning to their room there within the past couple of days. There have been plenty of other crimes in the immediate vicinity over the past six months or so. I would avoid it, and in all honesty the area around it.

I stayed there once with my large, territorial German Shepherd, and boy, was I ever glad I had her with me! Very, very dodgy place. I was just here to check out some land we were buying, so wasn't with DH, and had just wanted a hotel where I could bring my dog. Poor Molly was on edge the entire night, with all the noises, people banging around outside, etc. I videotaped her, because it was so funny. She kept giving these little barks and growls, pretty much constantly. She had a difficult job, protecting me that night :)

I wouldn't recommend it at all; this area is shady and is known locally as having a high crime rate.

Cheers!

....Just wondering....???? Because if you are....they too are located just next to...and slightly behind Old Town....down the drive a bit. They are "Presidential" level....in the Comfort Suites hotel chain and ranked #3 out of 162 hotels in Kissimmee on tripadvisor. I would recommend them highly. We have stayed there a couple of times...off-site and also prior to staying on DW properties. They have nice sized rooms with kitchens....a very nice buffet breakfast....very clean pool and hot-tub....good staff and comfortable beds. Last time we were there...the place was in good shape....and from the look of the reviews I just read...they're still doing great for a 3-star hotel.
.... Just wanted to clarify here....as on quite a few boards....tripadvisor too...I have seen these 2 establishments confused....

We stayed there several years ago. I would agree with the other posters, its not a very safe area of town. The hotel itself was just "ok". But I certainly didn't feel safe.
