In order to have the best possible vacation, our family really needs a suite for best sleeping. We are obviously on a budget (hence the budget board) and could really use some recommendations. We will either be going May 12 through 17 or Sept 22 thru 27. It would be for 2 adults and 2 kids (2 and 3 yrs) if this helps. Any ideas?

Thanks!!

Hi - You may want to check out the suites that are listed on HOTEL KINGDOM.com. They are offering a couple suite resorts for what looks like good prices for your dates in May.

Another suggestion is Condos-Orlando.com. These are for condos at Windsor Palms resort. It is a beautiful resort and very very close to Disney. The 2 bedrooms for your dates in May are, I believe, $59 a night. Plus you would get a washer/dryer and full kitchen. This resort has gotten great reviews on the Dis board as well as others.

You could also check out reviews of whatever place you are thinking of at TripAdvisor.com.

Or....you can check SkyAuction for their ready set go auctions and get a villa for about $250 for the whole week!! We used them in November and are staying at Silver Lake through them in May. If the places available are nice ones, it really is a terrific deal. That just leaves you more money for other fun stuff.

If you are planning to stay onsite, I would suggest renting points from a Disney vacation club owner. You can also find point rentals available on TUG2.net under classifieds for Orlando.

Hope this helps you out a bit!!!
Happy planning!
Heather

Check out DoubleTree Guest Suites on Hotel Plaza Blvd. which is on WDW property just past Downtown Disney. My bro & his family are getting a great deal there in October (think around $89) which includes breakfast for all. Also, the living room has a wet bar with micro and minifridge which can be great with kids along. I believe their suites run around 600 sq. feet so each room is a decent size.
I've read lots of positive things about this property. It is virtually adjacent to the WDW "gate" onto Rt 535 (I believe that is the # or its 536). Just across this road is a shopping plaza with supermarket, lots of places to eat (ie fast food & table service) so if you aren't planning on a car this could be a big plus location wise as you could easily walk . Also, it is supposed to have good bus service to the parks, etc.

Thank you so much! I'm going to check out both of your suggestions.

I really appreciate the help.

I've had problems accessing this site thru Internet Explorer but when I use AOL's browser there is no problem getting in. If you can, try using Netscape or another web browser. The site does exist and the link is http://hotelkingdom.com/ . I'm not sure why their server is having problems but it has been weeks since I've been able to get in using IE.

We stayed at Embassy Suites in Lake Buena Vista last year and liked it. A full breakfast in included in the price of the suite.

Kozmo, did you put a space between hotel and kingdom? It's just one word (hotelkingdom.com, not hotel kingdom.com). That may be your problem getting to the site.

Also check out hotelmartusa.com. They have great prices on Comfort Suites Maingate East, which is ranked like the best CS in the US.

We stayed at the Wyndham Palms Resort and Country Club last July in a two-bedroom two bath suite which we booked through hotelkingdom.com at the rate of $89 per night. This condo was very nice (brand new) and huge - 1,500 square feet. Full kitchen, washer and dryer, screened-in porch, 50 inch tv, master bath with jacuzzi. Very nice. Complex was nice too. Very convenient to WDW - took less than five minutes.

Good luck!

HIFS is rated a 4 star deluxe hotel. They have many different themes for the rooms, coka cola bears, trains,WDW and more. Kids have their own check in. And get to ride a train to the room.

HIFS is 1 mile from the gates of WDW on a very very unbusy road which is the same road as Swan/Dolphin, Ebcot,MGM,Blizzard Beach, and Typhoon Lagoon are on.

You will have 3 tv's at HIFS,a large bathroom. A large size collage refigerator and Microwave.

As stated Breakfast is FREE for you all and it is buffet style so everyone can find their favorites. Also Kids eat free/with an Adult at HIFS.

There is family Bingo for Pizza,Family Kareoke, face painting,Zero entry pool with childrens water works, miniture golf, lake with swans and liteshow.

I would return and stay at HIFS in a NY minute!!! We loved it there!! It was way better than All Sars in My Humble Opinion!! All Stars have NO in room themeing!! Not 1 character anywhere!!
Only outside in front of the pool side rooms. Most rooms face the parking lot.

We had better Service from everyone at HIFS!! They try harder!! HIFS is where we fould the "Magic"!!

Ask about their Entertainment Book rate!!

Here are two links one is for the HIFS website! Where you can check out room themes and Kids eat free program!!
