suite needed-jan visit

I am looking for a 1 or 2 bedroom suite for our jan visit to universal. We will be there from Jan 16th(wed) to Jan 20th(Sunday). It will be myself, my son, my sons friend and maybe my nephew. Any ideas?? We will have a car. We are going with 2 other families but will be staying in our own rooms. I posted on the universal board but didn't get any answers. Thanks!!

not sure when you posted but there are a few threads going on right now about hotels near Universal on the US boards. I'm booked at the Hawthorn for Jan in a 2 bedroom suite. Friends stayed there early this year and they liked it. Also, I have read good reveiws on it.

try the Marriott Grande Vista or Sheraton Vistana, they both have studios, one and two bedroom suites, with washer/dryer, both very nice. marriott is next to Sea World, Sheraton is not far from there either. Have been checking boards for months and Marriott has less bad reviews, tho Sheraton doesn't have alot, ask for newer rooms.

PS: Dis'rs get a discount at Sheraton Vistana.
