Suitcase takes off on own to Animal Kingdom Lodge ...

I mailed a large suitcase off to Animal Kingdom Lodge this afternoon to await my arrival on December 7th. I'm traveling with my mother who is in a wheelchair and has mild dementia. Hence messing with baggage claims, suitcase transfers etc. is more bother than under normal circumstances. Now I'll only have a carry on, which is managable even while I push her wheelchair. I've never done this before, but it was well worth the $23 it cost to box the suitcase up and ship it direct to the lodge UPS. I've got a tracking number so I can be sure it has a safe journey and arrives as scheduled. Plus, I'm basically packed now, including all of her medical supplies except for meds -- a week ahead of time! On the way back, I'll have a rental car, so can just check the suitcase at the curb direct to Madison. So, even though I haven't started my vacation yet, my suitcase has! Wish my suitcase bon voyage!
